HI I chose piplup now ive got a lv 53 EMPOLEON Deafeting the second gym leader with PRINPLUP hafting to use peck was hell. Then i evolved my starly lv 7 to STARAVIA lv 17 and bam! SHE WAS PWNED!!!

heres my advice.the good ones are piplup and chimchar.sinc e there final forms kick ass!but turtwig sucks.pick turtwig to fail.pick piplup and chimchar to make sure you do not fail.simple!

well,torterra is good.but,its double weak to ice since both grass and ground is weak to ice.i would say give torterra the berry that weakens super effective ice type attacks and maybe a move to cover that weakness.

listewn to this.piplup covers weakness of grass with peck,chimchar can is strong against final form of piplup(empoelon)since he will be infernape(fire and fighting type)torterra does have the advantage over infernape,but infernaps faster and still super effective.for a starter to be good,a final evolved form has to be.

I always pick the fire type, and Infernape is a really good battler, wether you teach it the elemental punches or not.

Chimchar was a bit of a disspointment because the fire starter pokemon from generation 3 (Torchic) kicks ass. I went with Empoleon....

well chimchars uslesss without Thunder punch or hidden power ice 70 so dont pick that, piplup has horrible IVS, so pick turtwig its simple yet itll work.

pick chimchar and then you rival has empoleon which is weak to fighting you'll have to battle him ( your rival ) an he will have empoleon so use chimchar and infernape is unbeatable! he can get down empoleon and last evolved form of turtwig!
