my 07 was 2x4 and i but 50 pound of air in my front tires and float with out a snorkle when it would drowned out i would push it out and it would start back up

I am sure what he is speaking of is the little part that goes above the gas tank. Most of the time, as long as you dont get water up any higher than that, you are fine.
