Have you decided yet? If not I would highly recommend the lx900 series by Sony. I have the XBR 60LX900 and LOVE it! I have reviewed the samsung c8000 and both Sony series. I went with Sony and the lx series. Everything comes with the LX series. You get the 3D technology built right in to the t.v. You also receive 2 pair of glasses with the LX series. There's also a built in 802.11n wireless connectivity. This t.v. looks amazing in 3D and also amazing in 2D. The press of a button and 3d to 2d

quick query, they say they've put a sheet of glass on top of the screen... does this not bring back the problem of a glare on the screen if you're watching in daylight. one of the biggest benefits of LCD in the first place? surely this technology is 2 steps forward, 1 step back? anyone know does the glass add anything to the viewing experience or is it merely an aesthetic addition that's gonna cause problems?

Theoretically and practically, with the correct input you can get 3D out of any TV with a 120 hz refresh rate or higher. At University we have been able to convert 120 and 240 HZ Flat Screens into 3D. Bet Sony, Panasonic, Samsung and the rest of them will not tell you this and ask that you spend big money on a new TV. Its not necessary and you will soon see 120 hz and 240 HZ converters available everywhere that will plug and play on existing TVs to convert your 2D to 3D.

Yeah researched this a while back, i have 2 new Sony televisions (KDl-46vl150) and looked and saw that they were already 120hz. But all you need is an emitter for your shutter glasses, as the "3d ready" ones have one built in.
