what?! you're crazy... i think it's just because there's an imbalance issue with the sound. the vocals were way louder than the instruments. maybe it sounds that way only through the video, maybe it sounded good live.

It's not their fault its the sound mix, I bet this sounded really good live but they have just turned all the instruments down and the vocals up for this and it sounds shit.
