  • I love that people are still watching this and relating to it, being affected by it and loving it. QaF is amazing.

  • Brian and Justin are my fav characters. God I love Gale and Randy

  • Sharon is amazing. The part where she talks about how she held that little boy and he started crying, ugh..

  • This show has been beyond amazing. It's delt with Almost every Controversial topic in the GLBT community: Coming out, Aids, HIV, Drugs, Drug addiction, Sex, Lesbians, Gay adoption, Gay bashing, Gay marriage, being kicked out for being gay, Discrimination in the workplace, underage prostitution, Suicide, internet pornography, actively gay Catholic priests, Ex gay ministries, Gay clubs, Gay high school bullying, etc. etc.

  • thank you soooo much for uploading!!

  • Wow, I know the lady from Alaska who contributed oh behalf of the cause. She is absolutely real. Peter Paige is my friend - and she contacted me and asked how she could make a contribution. Yeah, well it DID happen. The woman is a saint. She didn't want anything in return.

  • The characters I love the most are Ben and Michael. They are just perfect together ;))

  • I love the actors and creators of queer as folk, not for what they have done for me, but for what they have done for many many gay people in the world.

  • I think everyone would have been satisfied with the show ending is Brian and Justin ended up together. But them leaving makes us feel incomplete, because the entire series revolved around them becoming a relationship. Then they separate. Why? :(

  • Justin Taylor is my fave character and Randy Harrison portrayed him beautifully. This show is and always will be in a class by itself. It was awesome when it originally aired and it still stands on dvd.

  • This was the greatest show on cable tv--EVER. When it ended, I felt I had lost my best friends and family. I am not a young kid--this is the feeling that we had back in the day when we were all together as one in our bars/town/community. I have never felt such a since of loss unless it was losing my best friend--mother!

  • 5:17 Great moment. :))

  • who is the guy who carries randy harrison/justin taylor in around 6:23?

  • @andieestella Peter Paige/Emett

  • I just love that show :D It is still sad that it is over =( But I am so grateful I found it in you tube . you know somehow while watching the show the characters made me smile while I was sad =) So Thank you for that . I also learnt some lessons about myself and I hope that one day everybody will be exepted for who they are

  • @hottiashi correction: Brian IS gay; Gale is not. Brian is a fictional character that Gale plays... But I understand what you meant ;)

  • how the hell is brian not gay?

  • The GLBT community should not have to fight to be accepted. for me, if you are a human being then you are accepted automatically, it should just be a given.... and sadly it is not true for most

  • Watching this makes me tear up. I remember what it was like being gay back in middle school. There were times I had wanted to be dead so badly but I was too scared to do it. Seeing this show a couple times gave me faith that once I was grown up things would be better. They were.

  • yeah, this show def helped me out so much.

Should be played everywhere, don't know if this show got much credit, awards, emmys, and other things like that lol, and if it didn't ... y??

  • sharon's story about this boy always makes me cry...

  • i loved this show, amazing characters and story lines, the only character i didnt' like was whiney, whimpey, oh woe is me Ted

  • This show touched my heart deeply, especially justin and brians story, the strong, intense love between them. I've laughed, I've cried, I've followed the story through their ups and downs, and I was crushed when justin left in the last episode. I long for their happy ending, the proof that they really end up together. but i have to imagine it.

  • @TrinneLovesAll13

I know what you mean lol... I wanted a happy ending for justin and brian :(

  • i absolutly love this show. i feel as if this show has done a lot for this country that has always been moving forward as far as accepting people. i mean there were laws like in georgia that said blacks had to be separated from whites in school. and there was proposition 8. women got the right to vote in 1930, and there will be a time when we can get married, adopt, share health care and insurance probably anywhere in the country very soon! and i think its gonna be within my generation

  • listening to peter paige talk almost makes me cry. i wish i knew him. hes so amazing <3 <3

  • It's so silly but watching QAF during a breakdown in my life I've realized that I've been missing something. I gave up my dream after being refused at dramaschool and didn't have the guts to ask why. After that I just went on doing other stuff but it always stayed with me. Now I'm 33 and I feel that I have to do something now otherwise I will stay this unhappy. So I decided that even though I'm maybe to old I will go and take courses maybe go back to school after that to try to fulfill my dream.

  • i started watching this after i had admitted to my close friends that i was Bi- i was kinda put out by the fact that the scene want 'me- guys... i have to tell you something bit... im bisexual... my friends : erm.. yeah- ok- tell us something new?' :L but when i came out to the rest of the school- along with my girlfriend- i felt so fucking isolated- it seemed every one hated us... im so glad i had this show- it gave me the will to keep fighting...

  • It hurts so much while watching this!

Queer as Folk is without doubt the most beautiful, great, heart-breaking, heart-warming, honest and sensual TV show ever.

Listening to the producers and the cast how they grew up to be a real family and that they're so glad to be on this awesome show makes my heart pump faster and feel so much love. I didn't know what I would to without queer as folk.

    Love you.

  • itwas great to rewatch this series on youtube. all five seasons was tv at its best. it was at times heatbreaking, raw, playful, funny and just overrall real!

  • QAF is seriously one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking and funny shows.

It really has so much heart and soul to it. It totally made me see the world through clearer eyes.

BTW so random but I love when Peter picks up Randy, sooo cute!

  • cant believe the show is ending :(. This show WAS a beacon of light. I remember this show coming out just when I finished high school and I was closeted. I had no internet or didn't have my own laptop to see the 'gay' world online without my family finding out. All I had in my room was a small old tv and this show was a window of information and showed me the 'ropes' and what goes on in the gay world especially the school scenes with justin. Thanks again for the memories.

  • i m not gay buy after i saw this tv show , i m not changed to gay but i am deeply touched by their stories!!

  • loved it all

  • Best show ever! I began watching this when I was in 6th grade and I am not a sophomore in college and still love it.

  • I AM, not am not :)

  • i just finished the whole series......im crying my eyes out because i cant stand it to be over ......please in need comfort

  • OMG i just finished and i am sooooo sad. I feel like a part of my life is missing. I hate the feeling when a show as good as this ends.

  • Me too, my life seems different now. It seem like it has no meaning anymore.

  • Yhhhhh thats the same with me. It shouldnt have ended. I was reading a maths exam today and there was a question and the person in the question was called brian and i was like :'( the littlest thing gets me upset lmao ill jyust have to rewatch it all again

  • LOL me too. i would see on FAQ but i would switch it to qaf then i start to cry a little. yeah little thing like that screw with me.

  • same here. finished a week ago and no one was able to talk to me for hours!

  • aww i told my friend that i was so sad

  • In the Larry King interview, Robert wasn't out yet so i guess the show helped him to come out. During Larry interview only Emmit and Justin were out

  • Same here, I thought they all great. It would be interesting if the whole QAF family acting in a new show with different characters.

  • These people were robbed of emmys. Amazing performances from everyone.

  • @sylar102882 I agree the show was so intense and the actor/actresses put so much into their characters that they should of won awards for it and the show itself should f won.

  • @sylar102882

And of Golden Globes for that matter :(

  • I'll always miss QaF, it was an amazing show which helped me to accept myself and I'll always be gratefull for it. Besides, The story lines are really great, I just can't get borred... it's at the same time funny and really deep moving

  • Read my post in part 1, it reflects the impact of QAF.

  • I never had such an idea that it helped people so much!

  • I love and always will love watching QAF it still makes me laugh and sometimes get teary eyed, But it makes me feel proud and at the same time think why does this shit still exists in this day and age. America the land of the free, Really? For example Wanda Sykes in one of her performances says " if you don't like gay marriage then don't marry someone of the same sex" lol anyway I need to stop typing. QAF rocks forever.

  • Omg, i love that quote.

  • That is weird I posted that awhile ago and it says I posted a month ago. HMM anyway thanks for the reply.

  • Thar is weird. No prob!

  • Man I'm really crying ... it's so amazing..

  • me too

  • yeah me to its really deep

  • Im actually watching QAF right now because back in my country before I cannot afford to buy DVD's ( yes Im from a poor Family) but now Im working abroad I had the opportunity to see this wonderful show and really trully feel that being gay is not a curse like what I always been treated before(bullied and discriminated) now through QAF I feeIm not alone and I have a family in each and everyone of you guys! and I want to be friends to all of you .

  • I love this show and its been a real encouragement to me, not to hide myself and stay hidden. But to stand up and be proud of who and what I am.

Wish me luck, gonna step out of the closet

  • I hope it went well

  • i wish u all the luck in the world my dear!!! muah!!! take care !

  • @Kelennis in the words that we all know so well, "let your flame burn bright!"

  • this show really made me realise that people can except you for who you are and if they dont then you dont need them! why hide who you are? thats why ive finaly came out and thanckfully i was excepted! thankyou QAF youve changed my life xx

  • congratulations!!!

  • Quite simply the best American Rip-off. Correction, the only rip-off that was better than the original.

This show has a very special place in my heart.

  • me too. ( teary eyes)

  • queer as folk is a happy family :)

    <33 6:37 beautiful family

  • this show meant so much for me. and i think thats the great thing about qaf that it effects different kind of people...im a straight girl and i can still relate

  • I totally agree, this show has been such a encouraging thing for me, being a gay teenager thinking you need to change for your family who doesn't accept your because of religion. It is nice to know there are people who can accept me and love me for who i am.

  • oh god, i miss you guys!!! ^^

  • is the guy who played justin gay??

  • Yes he is :). He, emmet and ben are the only three guys who is gay on the show and Thea gill who plays lindsay is bisexual. xxxxxx Chatem

  • @Chatem vic is gay too ;)

  • @Chatem

And guy who played Vic is gay too.

  • @Chatem Gale Harold is bisexual too, no?

  • @PoppaLocca Gale is straight

  • @PandaPurgatory But they said Gale Harold and Randy Harrison went out o_O How is this not love?!?!? T_T

    /watch?v=2ka-WrQUED0

  • @PoppaLocca They never went out in real life and they never said they did... because Gale is NOT gay. He even talked about him being straight but playing a gay character. and they're friends, so Randy said that as a joke and Gale laughed.

  • @Chatem Thea Gill is bisexual? I never knew that ... really ? :) x

  • I only watched this show this year, I finished it in two week. I went looking for a show like this after I admitted to myself I was bisexual and two days ago I told my closest friends who just said "so what? we love you as you are". I would have never have learnt that without watching the show

So thank you Queer As Folk, you gave me the moral platform that I now set my life by; 'I won't hide, fuck the closet and fuck the people who want to keep us in there'

  • @LifesBlackSheep well said!!! :)

  • randy is so goddamn cute in this vid :')<3

    this serie opened my eyes.

myself i´m not homosexual or bisexual but I know now what I will spend the rest of my life for.

Homo/Bisexuel beeing accepteted in the society.

this changed my life forever, i will never forget the charactares <3

    Queer As Folk<3

  • I love this TVShow and I become so attached with the characters. It is just so sad it is over...

  • i envy them. being able to affect people's live a great deal.

  • Why no more!!!! Please make MORE!!!!!

  • "And he started sobbing, and he sobbed and sobbed" Making me cry ;(

  • I agree with you adamos, that part made me cry as well when I first saw this. It just proves how much affect a TV series can have on real life. :)

  • Queer as Folk meens so much to me too... i really like gay boys i have a friend he is gay and i am ever on his side and when someone say: oh my god your friend is gay?" then i'll say "Yes he is just a human and he want love too. it's not important if you love boys or girls!"

THANK YOU QUEER AS FOLK!!! x3

  • But what if humans are not really straight, or gay, but what if EVERYONE can just, simply, love? Like in a few instances. If a man falls in love with a woman and later finds out she is a man, he will still love her even if he cannot cope with it.

    Food for thought.

  • I love this show so much, And I'm a straight, 14 year old girl. It has effected me so much, Its so powerful and it has made the lives of young (and old) homosexual people so much better, And although, I am not gay, It has effected me alot, and I will never forget the relasionship between Brian and Justin, It was just heartbreaking at the end.

  • you know? queer as folk really means a lot to me. it always showed me how a life can be as soon as you've got friends that support you - no matter what..

  • oh my god I am sobbing.

    ):

  • can they make a movie plz omg i really miss you all

  • cryingggggg

  • this show has made my life so much better

    thank you queer as folk

  • mine 2....

    i think i learnd a fucking lot...

  • good bye, and good luck! we will always love thee!!! ;]

  • These guys are amazing

  • *sob*

  • watching things like this makes me feel like im missing out on something

  • i agree.

  • It's 2008 - I just finally watched the final season--I'd been saving it. I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY. Each of these characters was flawlessly written and beautifully acted by this outstanding cast. Sharon Gless is a GIFT from HEAVEN! She is beyond OUTSTANDING and AWESOME. This OUTSTANDING series has shown to everyone that it's all about LIFE and friendship and love regardless of your background, orientation or anything else.

Thank you! Please give us more

  • Damn. I'm crying too. Started at the middle of 2/4. Love QAF...

  • i am crying. damn you QAF you always do this. but i love you anyways and i can't help it.

  • omg i know when our dear debbie started talking about the boy who started crying... I just started bawling...

  • after finally watching this entire series, while watching the final season at 3AM and hugging myself......thinking it was Debbie...I totally agree with you....t

To all you young and searching gay youth...have faith and trust....because it's out there! It's all about LOVE! Big hugs!

  • That woman in Alaska...wow.

This is such a moving vid.

  • It's 2008 - I just watched the final season--I'd been saving it. I am absolutely blown away. Each of these characters was flawlessly written and beautifully acted by this outstanding cast. Sex is fun, fascinating and powerful...but Michael was wrong in the first episode when he said: "it's all about sex..".

This OUTSTANDING series has shown that it's all about LIFE and friendship and love regardless of your background, orientation or any other factor.

Thank you! Please bring it back.

  • i can only watch like 20 seconds of this. because it makes me cry, that queer as folk is over. :/

  • Thanks for posting!

  • OMG, I am seriously crying about the story with the sobbing boy... I hate this hypocritical 'religious' world sometimes!

  • i'm a straight girl myself, but one of my good friends is gay, and i recently found out that he realized he was gay because of watching this show when he was in 7th grade. he told me he would sneak downstairs in the middle of the night to watch it.

  • the serie ! is the best !

I would like to see a series like this in Peru and throughout Latin America! cause the same good impression that causes in the United States that the series something good for the gay community. ! I charm the series! and I do not think like this will be no!

  • I've been reduced to tears

  • I am practicly crying now, it WAS the best show. It helped me come out to my family...

Without it anymore its like horrible...I wish they could bring it back, please...bring it back....We all loved it!

  • I love 6:24-ish :D

  • if i saw one of them i would go up to them and just say "thankyou" and star crying so hard....thank you

  • so would i . ive always known i was gay but i always felt alone. that was until this show came out 5 yrs ago. even my straight friends are watching it

  • I was like 11 when I first watched this show and I realised that I was gay. This show has made a powerful effect on my life.Thank you QAF,16 now and I'm out and proud.

  • hi guys, I'm RJ, 24, gay and handsome hehehe from Philippines while watching this unique gay series, it really made so confident facing the really me. Thanks to QAF for being a big part of my fabulous life. I love Peter Paige who played Emmett coz he is so cool and true.. But i love justin the most because with this line -- WE DONT NEED RINGS OR VOWS TO PROVE THAT WE LOVE EACH OTHER, WE ALREADY KNOW THAT! - the best line for me (Season 5 last episode)-- anyone interested with me?

  • I totally agree with you on this *grins* I do love Peter Paige, he's amazing guy!

Also, I'm from philippines as well. peace out! :)

  • OMG! I literally have to keep myself from sobbing! I love this show so much, and that's why I hate the ending SO much! Justin and Brian are supposed to be together forever!

Anyways, watching this help heal some of the QAF-homesickness.

    I'm from Philippines too.

  • Peter Paige's a very special person, and Emmet is very dear to me, I'm like one of those 15 years old boys, buy I'm 17 xD

    I'm from Argentina, kinda far

  • I LOVE 5:17.

  • I'm 19 and a lesbian, and I never got to see this show aired in London, where I am. It is this show that gave me the confidence to say to all the homophobes in my uni "You know what, I'm a dyke. Deal with it. You don't like it, f**k you!" Thank you Queer As Folk.

  • It's completely amazing, their comments, all the good what this show did. Qaf is love. Thanks so much for posting!

  • Justin's character was extremely impacting. I think his character alone was the most, followed by Brian. Their relationship was just breathtaking too, what with the struggles. Randy was just amazing as Justin. 'This season there's alot funnier outtakes' XD He and Gale just start laughing XD Peter picked up Randy! XD

  • i completely agree with you.

  • Heartbreaking!!!!!! wipes tears*.......thanks for posting all of these.

  • OMG.. this brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for posting.

  • I'm in Australia and this 'goodbye show' wasn't shown here. Thanks for posting it.

  • It's my pleasure. It's sad they didn't air it their. Her in Belgium Qaf hasn't aired complete. This wednesday, they will air season 4 episode 9, for the first time.

You can see Belgium is behined airing QAF.

    Glad you enjoyed the extra.

    Greetings from Belgium

  • Here in Australia they showed the final season about 2 years ago. It's disappointing for QAF fans in Belgium who had to wait so long for the final season.

I'm a 23 year old straight guy who fell in love with a gay show. ha ha. In 2002 my girlfriend introduced me to the show and I loved it. I don't think my mates will ever stop giving me shit about it, but it's all in good fun.

Enjoy QAF Ep 9 on Wednesday!
