Namely, if the girl fell in the apartment and died, and the body was put in a closet temporarily, then the child being carried down the street, seen by the family who had just finished dinner, could NOT have been Madeleine. I have a problem with Mr Amaral not pointing out this contradictory evidence. Watch the whole series to see what I mean.

Maybe she died before they went to dinner and Gerry used the dinner as an alibi.After all the police said her bed had not been slept in judging by the way the covers were not disturbed. is it possible she died while they were in the apartment, in which case maybe one of the two did it to her and she didn't fall at all?

Call it instinct or having sharp observation skills; I don´t know but I do believe Senor Amaral was just about to slam-dunk these two parents and their friends until the British gov intervened. Madra it's correct portuguese justice condamned Dr Amaral to 18 months prison (suspended) by said agression to Joana mother convicted to 18 years prison ! his lawyer appealed to superior court, on this again shaming case, as the rumours are indeed too strong that her lawyer was paid by the Mccanns, and a lot of testimonies were"cooked" with english support !
