You will only get 30 feet indoors. Outdoors the signal has no walls to bounce back from so it can be reduced to 1-2 feet effectively as the signal is lost more easily.
In fact you get much better navigation through your music - browse playlists and ff/rew within a track which is a lot better. Really comfortable as well. Jaybird have lots of issues with the fit and you still have to carry a non sweatproof mp3 or phone. Bluetooth signal drastically reduces outside as well sometimes causing drop out which wouldn`t affect the Mi-sport`s built in mp3.
1. About the range issue, did you use a BT-adapter with the ipod? Have you tested the headset with any other device that has built-in BT? Same problem?
2. Another review says that if you pause the music using the headset's controls, it is actually just muted in the headset, while the source device (iphone in that case) keeps playing the track silently. Have you had a similar experience?
great review, i have one quick question, how is the bass quality? I like to listen to a lot of electronic music and bass is a big plus in my workouts.
what kind of ipod are you using these with? i have an itouch 2nd gen and as far as i know its the only ipod with bluetooth but there are some adapters. are you using an adapter? if yes wich one cuz that might be the problem with short range
I don't wear glasses, but the few times i had my sunglasses on there was no problem at all. As far as the distance...when i was inside it was fine, but once i was outside, it had to be on my arm or i heard about everyother word. Distance really is a problem, but...if yu are running (or anything where you sweat) and dont mind having it on your arm, then these are great headphones.
nice review but distance shouldnt be a problem i wear my phone on my belt clip so will receoption be rubbis? thanks also can you tell me if when wear glasses these are still ok thanks
i say 6 or 7 out of 10

I have these earphones and I agree 100% with your review. I love these in the house but not outside. Thanks!

@DwntwnOrlndoGuy Not Inconvenient at all.

I prefer the Mi-Sport anyway.

I thought the range of a bluetooth was about 32 feet.

Thanks for this review, two questions:
