from the video, it looks like you are simply taking a small sapling around index finger-thumb diameter and just abusing it til it becomes loose and thready. whenever i try twisting like this, the whole thing just breaks apart and little shards come off on the thicker parts. what is the process and what are some things i can look for to know i am doing this correctly? and also i imagine some trees are better than others. awesome trick by the way.
Most people are too depended on technology to survive. I like your videos a lot, you educate people on how to survive with what nature has to offer. Thanks for sharing!!!
I said they sound like Canadas how much closer can I guess than that. The world is changing, though it is very cold here yet the Mallards are around already. Geese stay 1 month later than when I was a kid & come 1 month earlier often! A nice ending in any case we get many over house here in spring & fall. I love when my birds go up & fly in them. Gyr Falcon come with mallards though ARRRRGGGG. Bad for my birds, seem to mostly just go for ducks luckily. Goshawk is worst for me.
Lots of cleaver ingenuity here! Especially like the tri-pod wrap over knot and the notch! Sure wish you would have had your bush bow with you...honk,honk
What kind of knife was that? It looked like a Mora..

brill as usual, ive used withies many times, like you for the cooking.are the geese comming or going,ie,for winter...
wolfbushcraft 3 years ago
the geese fly south now before the winter,
it was -0c last night, (38f i think,) so its time for them to escape before the winter arrives,
