@HulaForever pls look at some of the most beautiful philippine folkdances go to- jota pangasinana issc 2009 , a regional dance competition in region 6 western visayas philippines, u can see some of the finest dance teachers and dancers from different schools and universities , jotabal dance see ASPCI folkdancers07, jota sevillana by guimbal a town in iloilo is very elegant too.
i don't see the history of that surtido where can find it?..... i need it tommorrow can u tell me the website so i can research it?...plssssssssss reply me now

@TotallyAnimeLover are you some kind of anime lover who can't accept the fact that philippines was conquered by spain so you want philippines to be a country of people who are japanese loving and anime fans? if you are filipino just be proud of who you are, don't be copying some other asian nation, its not cool. im filipino and i don't go around everywhere eating with chopsticks or watching anime and copying them. just a thought.
The steps performed and the music performed is that of the JOTA CAMARINES. We can check this out in the book PHILIPPINE NATIONAL DANCES by Francis Reyes-Tolentino.
