  • Trust me, I've owned HK, Sig, Kimber, Springfield, S&W, FNH, Walther, Colt, Charter, Ruger, Kel-Tec and Para. I've owned the Glock 19, 21SF, 23, 26, 27, and 36SF. Just bought a Glock 17 and I'm here to tell you; this is the most comfortable, accurate and enjoyable pistol I've ever shot! This gun is amazing!! I love buying, trading and selling guns, but this one WILL NOT EVER GO. I was very fortunate to find it in the very rare O.D. Green (it's been discontinued). It is truly the AK of pistols.

  • How loud is the G17 compared to other glocks or handguns?

  • Were is the safety?

  • austrian army wanted it to be made in austria.... maybe thats what we should do here.... AMERICAN MILITARY .....AMERICAN GUN MAKER/ MADE HER IN THE USA!!! PERIOD!

  • nice review, very imformative. Almost every review I have watched is either to little information or just what someone else thinks about their glocks, nobody ever tells the actual gun facts, like I never knew about all of the internal lock & safety's & I actually own 3 glocks also, lol. I have a 17, 19 & 26... very nice review bro..

  • This gun is DAO (double action only), does it make the gun less accurate than the SA&DA handguns ?

  • yeah them springfield xd guys like my nieghbor always hating on glock when it's the same fuckin design...glock is bcon and xd are imitation bacon with an extra safety lol morons!!!

  • I have heard that shooting plus p ammo a lot can blow up the barrel on glocks

  • is this the most popular 9mm pistol ever right now in the world? Because I want a gun where if i have to survive, i'll be able to find mags easily

  • @jblcva no i meant semi-automatic. I have neither yet. Just a pea shooter C-9 that I sold to my dad so it's really not even mine anymore.

  • G17 My first Glock...

  • Lol i searched for boobs and this came up :D

  • Can anyone please guide me as far as what gun i should buy for personal protection. I know nothing about guns. My neighborhood is getting a bunch of home burglaries and i think i better start thinking about for my safety. Please if anyone can help me out, i would want to buy a reliable and easy to shoot gun. Thank you.

  • @tmz90 Hi. I'm glad I found your comment. I'm ex mil, sergeant, and now a corrections officer. If you're in the market for home defense, the FIRST gun I suggest you but (for begginers) is a Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun. Max stopping power and max value. You don't even have to be (accurate) a good shot with a shotgun... the "point and click" of the gun world. The second gun I suggest would be this one, a Glock model 17 9mm. Buy hydrashock ammo for your Glock. You'll be more than safe. God bless.

  • @archangelmichael1978 All in all, you're looking at around a $1000 price tag, but it's the best home security system you'll ever get. No monthly costs, so it pays for itself over time, not to mention peace of mind. 12 gauge ammo is cheap and plentiful. 9mm isn't bad either. I'd also suggest you invest in dead bolt locks on all exterior doors. You can up that by going for dual dead bolts on outside doors. Buy motion sensor lights for your exterior doors. Combine that, with guns, and you are set!

  • @tmz90 If you have any other questions or seek further advice, feel free to send me a pm and I will write you back. I'm cool like that.

  • I can't wait till I get a glock 17

  • dear sootch, does the older gen 2 have the safety features? it won't slam fire if dropped right?

  • @blaziankhmer I am not Sootch and i can answer that 1..

The Gen 2 will not slam fire if dropped...

  • I feel kinda silly to ask this, but I feel it's necessary. Besides the automatic round burst, if I were to get a semi-automatic 9mm, would it be a waste of my money if I also bought a machine pistol like a MAC-11?

  • do you have a class 3 license? if you don't, there is no way in hell you're getting a fully auto mac11. if you want just a pistol, the glock 17 is the way to go with a 32 round mag. the civilian mac11's don't hold a candle to a glock.

  • @2bjjones Your pistol fires automatic? Do Not Get Caught

Transporting that gun. Felony, transporting a machine gun.

Even if it is a Mac11 semi. They can burn you bad for that..

  • For 9mm I'm a Beretta man at heart. For my 25th birthday, I got a Glock 17. I absolutely love the pistol(lightweight, good sights, high mag capacity, easy to field strip, ergonomic grip), except its trigger pull. Maybe I'm just a metal-frame hair trigger fag, but I know it's worth the effort to master that Glock trigger pull.

  • Sorry for my noob question but, would it be safe for the Glock 17 to be dry fired? Not dry firing it everyday but once in awhile probably after cleaning or shooting.

    Thanks

  • @Legionnaire8888 you are required to dry fire a glock, you really cant damage any centerfire firearm by dry firing it unless its very old or the firing pen is made of a bad metal. so in short you wont hurt it if you sit there and dry fire it for hours.

  • @Grunt922 Oh ok gotcha. Thnaks

  • @Legionnaire8888 no problem. stay safe.

  • @Grunt922 Thanks*

  • @scootch00 good shooting. The muzzle bearly came up.

  • I wish I picked up a 17 rather than my 26; I want a full size side arm. My back up weapon is a Ruger LCP and my Primary being an AK47. This is the system I think would run best for my needs. What are your thought on the Glock 26 vise the 17 ??

  • Why is every video that I have watched of you is footage of you shooting but never footage of where the bullets land.

  • im 14 and am having my brother buy me one of these do the kick back?

  • @Daniel53886 nope. im only a couple years older than you and i remember from the age of 8-15, i would always ask if it kicked hard. as long as you have a good grip and a good stance, youll be fine.keep both hands on it, one hand wrapped around the other and stretch your arms all the way out and you shouldnt have a single problem.

  • ever hit the empty cases with the lawn mower???

  • @tmysty YES

  • Got a chance to fire a gun for the first time this week( gun range of course) and this gun was recommended. I had a blast with it.

  • why are big boobs a tag?

  • @251251 why not :)

  • @IBreatheRevenge touche

  • best home defense pistol

  • I have this exact model. Solid pistol!

BTW, rocking the tan Crocs, awesome lol

  • wow the recoil is amazeing im thinking of gettin one

  • Rock out with your Glock out! Great review!

  • I <3 Glocks!!

  • I appreciate your simple straight foward review. No B.S. and knowledgeble intelegent presentation. Thanks

  • How much kick does this gun have on a scale of 1 to 10?

  • Great no time for BS pistol!

Also the weapon of choise of the Dutch Armed Forces, MP and SOF

  • I´ts made in Austria!!!

    Greetings from Austria/Vienna ;)

  • Ive only shot a Berreta 90Ttwo and a Glock 17...Glock 17 was AMAZING! great pistol! love the feeling of it and love the sound... really surprised me! by the way check out my video of the Glock 17 on my channel...it sucks! see for urself!

  • LMAO the tags, "Girl With Big Boobs :)"

  • I love, love, love my Glock 17!!!! It was my first handgun purchase back in 1992. They drop test random guns from 100 feet, they bury them in mud, freeze them in ice and they always fire perfectly.... Thus the slogan "Glock Perfection" The true Tonka Toy of handguns! Plus, US models are made in the Smyrna, GA. plant. Very close to hometown for me.

    R. Lee Ermy is a Glock Rep, and any gun worthy of "the Gunny's" endorsement is good enough for me.

  • can u buy a glock 21 and try it again!?!?!?

  • how much would this gun cost?

  • you can shoot almost any gun underwater as long as the ammo is good and has nothing wrong with it and nothing is in the barrel or chamber besides the round

  • it was NOT the first polymer framed pistol it was the VP70 from heckler and koch,

  • @ermaslv44 "the first to find huge success" you need to finish reading the whole thing before you google first polymer pistol

  • @airic554 the vp70 also found huge succes

  • "Between 500 and 575 US$". In Argentina is around 1000 US$. Sons of bitches politicians!!!

  • dumbass its not the first polymer framed pistol, its the VP70 from heckler and koch

  • 'merica

  • glock 17

choice of an arizona guy who hates politics

    choice of cho seung hui

    choice of champions

  • @xxuncexx actually it was a 19

  • was that 16 shots

  • The glock 17 is an awesome gun, but a little on the ugly side

  • I love the comfortability and ease when firing at your intended target... Awesome Gun

  • How do you like its accuracy? What if you are not pleased with where the bullet goes vs where you are aiming? What can be done to adjust sights?

  • Glock's, AK-47's, and 1911's. Just can't complain.

  • @CDWastelands I got all 3 =D

  • what do you think about shooting lead (not jacketed) bullets with glock stock barrel? Why yes or why not?

  • @kembrabug its not common to use lead 9mm anymore. Even if your shooting cheaply. If you do, then spend the 100 bucks for a aftermarket barrel.

  • glocks air the best handguns ever love that pistol

  • Beautiful pistol. I got the Glock 17 RTF2. I got it for $495 here in Chicago. Worth every penny. Highly recommend you can't go wrong with.

  • and how much does it cost?

  • i love guns!!! the glock is one of my favorite handguns. and im 12 YEARS OLD. i already know how to use a gun. :)

  • great review, thanks

  • nice review and i think they use this model in police too

  • Great review, If you get time check out my Glock 10mm vid.

  • My favorite handgun along with the Kimber 1911.

  • would this ge a good gun to put inn my bug out bag or lbv

  • Wow .amazing gun. total reliability. fired just around 50 rounds with my Taurus and had a bullet jam ..replaced it with a CZ ,38

  • The Glock is not something you should give to a girlfriend or a beginner shooter and expect it to function. If you hold the gun with a very limp wrist it may cause a failure to cycle malfunctions. Just search "Glock Limp Wrist Test" on YouTube and you'll figure out what I mean.

  • does it jam alot or since u hav got this glock has it jam

  • @mj255ful both my pops and i bought one a couple weeks ago and we finally got time to go to the range and fire off some rounds. it did jam the first couple times when you put the mag in and pull back the slide to allow the first bullet to slip into the chamber. but i think that was because we were being to gentle with it. put the mag/clip in, pull back the slide and let it go by itself. that seemed to do the trick, no problems after that. great gun. impressive. i like it.

  • I have the Glock 17 as my duty weapon for almost 10 years, and it never failed me once! Love GLOCK!

  • isn't it bad to dry fire a gun? I have seen a lot of people do it but I thought it is bad for the gun....?

  • @kawizzr14 Mostly its only bad to dry fire .22s but for most center fire pistols its ok.

  • Just bought a 3rd generation today because I had the R.T.F. 2 and it sucks as the grips literally seem to eat up your hands!

  • Wonderful review, I'm getting a glock 17 this summer and this review put me up to date...........Thank You.

  • Thanks alot I know I'm only twelve but I might get a hand gun and my dad owned a glock and I've heard alot about them and I have to say I love them and thanks alot

  • Very good review!

  • Did he say whare? WHARE?! FUCKA YUUU WHARE!!! *stabs whale with spear*

    Also good review

  • @TheBassGuitarist1 Lol its a south park joke. The japanese hate the whales on there, plus they couldnt actually say whale..they said whare.....so...yeah...

  • very good review man...

  • i've got a 17 gen 2 with fixed sights is there anyway to put night sights in it?

  • 100000 rounds without malfunctioning? A freaking fairy tale. Or so I'd think if I didn't know better

  • I own a Glock 17 and 19 and I couldn't be more proud of a firearm

  • i heard with a double action if youve never fired one before you will tend to shoot low because your trying to compensate for the recoil, any truth?

  • Your review reminds me of history channel : ) I really like to you throw in small pieces of it's past during the review, outstanding. However, where's the girls with big boobs?! ~~nice tags :P

  • im 14 and just shot this pistol. it was the first handgun i have fired. no matter how i tried to aim my rounds were hitting all over the target and i was shooting at only 15 yards. is that average for a begginer or is my tecnique (sorry about spelling) seriously wrong?

  • Well you pretty much just said the same everyone says about glocks. Nice review, I'll be getting one very soon.

  • can u use the glock 17 for concealed use or is it to big?

  • @pyr0mania106 Yes, I think the Glock is an excellent pistol for beginners. It's so simple. But even experienced shooting enjoy the reliability and accuracy. Thanks~

  • @sootch00 hey, i need advice im gonna get a gun for my birthday and im thinking about a glock 17 and a blugarian ak74 and im not sure, what is your opinions?

  • Not bad. Good review.

  • I'm turning 21 in about ten months. The first thing I'm gonna do is go buy a Glock-17.

  • man i like your southern american accent

  • great review, but i believe the whole barrel this is that they're not supposed to shoot non jacketed lead rounds.

  • @Rubengt303 You're right. Lead bullets will build up in the rifling of the barrel of Glock pistols. Thanks~

  • @Rubengt303 what do u mean non leaded? im new to this so im just curious.

can a glock shoot hollow points?

  • a glock will shoot any ammo you put in it, the only problem is with non jacketed lead rounds, the rifling is designed differently, and it grabs the bullet more, which would shave more lead off of a non jacked round, and it will start to deposit in the barrel, it will still cycle but after a while it may foul or effect accuracy, so any jacked round will work perfectly through a glock... glocks will fire hollow points no problem
