Playing thru the marble garden zone as Knuckles was frustrating, because he doesnt jump as high as sonic. and i had to keep going back for the hover pad to jump high enough to kill that arrow spiting statue...I HATED THAT! I never figured out if there was a way around that part... I know someone else knows what Im talking about.... damn it all.
