Vicky & Debbie Riffle? Just to name a few. Miss all of you. Wish I could see you again. Thanks for this memory!

  • The field must be all wet because the Purple Lancers followed the Blousemen. They did the "Age of Aquarium" show that year.

  • Wow What great memories of that day , Can't believe it was that long ago. I'll never forget the feeling I had on that rain soaked morning or will I ever forget the great people that were part of that drum corps . Thanks for putting that piece of history up

  • Thanks for posting this information. Hi to all ex 1974 Purple Lancers!

  • This video was provided by Lancer member Joyce Liberatore D'Imperio (rifle). Her Dad took the video. The sound and video were merged by Mark Morabito son of Lancer Members John Morabito (mellophone) and Darlene Weslowski Morabito (rifle). The sound is from a different show unfortunately and therefore they don't line up for most of the video. It is amazing that this resurfaced after all this time. There is a Purple Lancers reunion site on Facebook. Check it out.

  • Can't even believe someone had this bit of history on film. Thought it was gone forever (except in our memories)

  • @GIANTSFAN429 Hi! John and I were wondering who you are!

  • Wow, I remember that day 37 years ago like it was yesterday. I was out there on that rain soaked turf having the time of my life. My thanks to whomever found and posted this. I never thought that I would see any video footage of that day in 1974!

  • @Kanstulman Hi! John and I were wondering who you are!
