@xanglat It's from Carnivàle- a television series. I'm not sure if one can call these scenes wonderful, though :D There's nothing what is commonly known as romantic about their relationship. Therefore, this music, as aquadiem said, fails to catch the atmosphere of their relationship. I strongly recommend you watch the series- one of the best I've seen so far.
I like Alanis a lot, but I don't think this song really fits (musically speaking). The lyrics are perfect though. Maybe if there was an Alanis' song with this kind of lyric plus the atmosphere of, say, The Couch or One. Maybe Sympathetic Character, because now that I think about it, that song suits this pairing perfectly.
But that's just my opinion, I always saw this pairing as a very dark one, and this song (besides its meaning) it's not so dark when it comes to sound and music arrangement.
Considering all the well thought out "pin pointed" scenes synced with the lyrics, I have to say I'm pretty impressed... the show was fantastic and Iris and Justins' "relationship" was truly one of the most twisted and interesting to watch... your video is GREAT! It really sums up what everyone on the other side of the screen was thinking and not saying... Well done!
