Back in 2005 I asked a real estate person who were all these people buying these expensive homes? I was unpleasantly surprised to hear that many of these buyers were young couples who were using their inheiritance as a down pymt!! These young people were duped into applying their families money into an already slipping hsng

mrkt. I only hope these young people make it. How cruel. I say, no bail for speculators...but assist the single family, single home buyer. Also, assist the elderly.

In '99 Clinton asked Fan. Mae & Fred. Mac to lower their standards (for the poor). Following 9/11 interest rates fell drasticaly, then in '02 Bush asked Fan. Mae & Fred. Mac to lower their standards again. Here's the big one: In '04 the SEC failed to properly regulate Credit Default Swaps or insurance policies on mortgages. Financial institutions were allowed to hold only 3 cts for every dollar of risk. That permitted institutions to "gamble." BUSH AND THE '04 SEC CHAIRMAN ARE THE ONES AT FAULT!

Bank Runs will be more common, take your money out now while you still can. This global credit crisis will hit every Bank. Government guarantees on banks could take 6 months to 2 years to retrieve your money. Australian banks don't guarantee deposits, only that depositors will have first claim to bank assets. Most countries have limits on guarantees, USA it's 100K per PERSON (even if you have multiple accounts across different banks).

Also, when Bush moved to the right (in our perspective), it seemed to cover the figure off by some amount. Thus, I am led to believe either there was bright illumination towards the window at the figure or it was a reflection from a source in front of Bush. I think it was just a figure in front of Bush who was highly illuminated who could project an image to reflect from the window.

I think everyone overlooked the proportions of the figure.

Even though it's in the back ground, think how high up it has to be from the base of the windowed doors. So it's gotta be standing on a box or something to do that. Not to mention, it seems much smaller than what I would expect. You would think that it should at least be bigger than half a window.. Also, it's slightly illuminated oddly.

The video clip is interesting but would be more interesting if it covered the proven fraud against Abbey National Plc / Coopers & Lybrand of £64 million.

Wow! I actually agree with something Mr. Bush said. If you lied on your mortgage app to buy an 850k 1bdr townhome in La Jolla, while you were working part time at a doghnut shop, you can't expect the fed to pay the bill when it dosn't work out.
