  • I wish someone would make a non-depressing (non-goth) version of industrial music. I miss the non-depressing musical parts of the songs (especially the beats and rhythms). I want the music without the depressing vocals/lyrics. I can't listen to industrial music anymore without feeling depressed, and being reminded of my depressed days. I miss Covenant, Accessory, God Module, Blutengel, Informatik, Front Line Assembly, and so on. Anyone know of any good alternatives -- a happier industrial?

  • LOVE.

  • Oh FORD this is sweet. ♥

  • I want to live in a Brave New World <3

  • Soundtrack to the Future.

  • my ex-boyfriend introduced me to covenant. But this music is just too good to quit just because of one stupid person. I am going to listen to this forever and always!

  • i don't like much covenant, but i love this song! so inspiring

  • Easily one of my favorite songs of all time.

  • They sure are from Sweden, my home country

  • for some reason that logo reminds me of the Combine logo from half life. and the virtual singer G-man from half life

  • O brave new world, that has such people in't!

Covenant's music just feels like the future. "tis new" to me.

  • Fuck the New world order

  • anyone else get raped by the song? and I listen to BR00TAL METAL all day long.

  • It´s ambrosial !!

  • First thing I've heared from this band, I'm impressed!

  • words are not great at describing what this song's magnitude consists of. amongst the greatest stuff Ive ever heard.

  • Ohrwurm !!!

  • This is a good song for 2012!!!!

  • Only dominated by VNV Nation at their best.

  • @TrueRamses

    indeed mate

  • Shiiit, man, I got goosebumps all over!

  • It is impossible to describe how much I love this song.

  • Got this album on CD for my Birthday,signed..best present in my life time.

  • The piano tune sounds a lot like The Cure's "Push". (especially 1:50 - 2:12)

Hearing that fabulous tune gave me immediate shivers.

I like a lot of the other Covenant stuff as well.

  • I don't know what I would do without Covenant in my life.

  • GRANDIOS

  • @sternenkinderland I don't get grandiose out of their music. More like a commentary on how we try to control our destinies and the world around us but fail because we don't work together. If humanity seems helpless and hopeless it's because we won't help ourselves as a whole. Any attempts seem to lead to some kind of manipulation.

  • @pfzht Wann kommt der Bus?

  • its like rammstein, daft punk, and freezepop had an orgy and this is the result

  • @TheAlliesCanHelp LOL! xDD

  • my favo. with Covenant

  • i think what he's trying to get at is that human beings generally are always searching for something more, and though me may not ever reach our goals, or find what we're looking for, the journey is beautiful regardless and our need to change and expand is ever-present. but as any covenant song there is a sense of detachment from mainstream society and a sadness about the direction of humanity, in my opinion. wonderful music from covenant as always though, no matter the meaning.

  • Beautiful.

  • You guys should read Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, on which this song is based. It's depressing, so I think this song is meant to be somewhat depressing as well.

  • @ShimmySnail I love that book! I recommend it. =)

  • @ShimmySnail i read half that book but i never got to finishing it... it was really good though.

  • @ShimmySnail Indeed, and there at least is a bittersweet irony to the lyrics of the song

  • *-* toooooll <3

  • It's the Obama administration theme song.

  • @Pastorbuckshot ;

    Nah, Obama's to corrupt

  • @Pastorbuckshot ;

Nah, Obama's the definition of Corruption.

Besides, He would put the song to an insulting shame.

  • This is actually my favorite Covenant song. Call the Ships to Port floored me when I first heard it, but this one has endured.

  • you have great taste in music :D

  • Valhalla...a brave new world

  • Valhalla isn't really what we call new.....

  • well thats a more of a matter of perspective....its new to those who havent gone there yet...but old to those already there

  • @musicbyparson USA....

    Lol Social-Scandinavian=promised land

  • Covenant.....Modulation rape...

  • Its epic!

  • Süper! Wonderful song!

  • Das schoenste Lied von Covenant!!!

  • soooooooooooooooo GEIL!!! Stay dark....

  • Piekne, cudowne, bajeczne...

  • covenant always manages to capture a sense of mortal beauty in their songs, this being no exception

  • ein ohrwurm von Covenant! ^__^

    so good!

  • 10/5 stars hehe

  • the beginning reminds me of the song children

  • love the beginning :)

  • THIS SONG IS... undescribable for one thing! it is just awesome!!!

  • Love this song!!!!

  • Love these guys! One of my all time favorite songs from them... I also love the happy man but just the remix fast version...

  • Best band ever

  • covenant are amazing

  • did anyone find the drugs in the end?

  • A.W.E.S.O.M.E

  • maybe u need a timemachine

    theunforgivenhalf

  • i have got a question ... where is the brave new world?

  • A prediction by Aldous Huxley concerning the New World Order...

So I don't know why this song is using that moniker as if it is something positive because it is actually quite Luciferian, because you don't want to live in that kind of world, it is worse than a ruling elite of scientific dictators!

  • There is no Swedish conspiracy...! <.< :D

  • I think it's kind of a commentary on what people want...humans seem to desire a brave new world, consciously and unconsciously. We're always looking for someone to take care of us and for happiness (i.e, soma or "everyone belongs to everyone" mentality). So it's like, where is this promised land, this brave new world of happiness and care.

Also, brave new world is simply an expression meaning a new and different world, I'm pretty sure. So they may just mean that.

  • Covenant is the last band in the world you should suspect of being sadistic and luciferian. If you have a beautiful fantasy world of you own: thats your impression of the brave new world, ergo: That`s the brave new world to you. :).

  • I would like to look at it like that, but the fact remains that the moniker "brave new world" (book by Aldous Huxley) is mainly understood to be a vague description of any futuristic-like distopia...

  • Ah, now i see what you ment. Sorry, i did`nt know that you ment the novel :). When you say it like that, yeah, i do`nt even want to think about a wold like that. So i just imagine my own brave new world, i find that a lot more beautiful than the one described by Aldous Huxley. :).

  • Yes, deffinetely your mum...

  • out of curiosity, what do you mean by luciferian?

  • Well, Lucifer, the devil. Sin and that kind of stuff. Since in my theory, arroganse in faith is the greatest sin of all, And arroganse was what threw Lucifer down. I know it has nothing to do with the song, but anyway :).

  • *correction* Arrogance fyi

  • Out of curiosity, are you aware that your using the internet?

If so, by all means, let it up!

  • good music ....who cares bout history ......NOT ME

  • but... we enjoy this as this is the best. 'cause this is it.

    i said.

  • we? in this third world, we have not a brave new world...

    not a promised land

  • Another song that is based on Aldous Huxley's novel is "A Brave New World" by: Iron Maiden.

I loved the book, and I would recommend Huxley's novel "Island" to anybody who might have enjoyed it.

  • The book is great reading. Pity the movie version was way too cheesy and star-trek like

  • i like the song...great lyrics...wonderful voice...the music is good,too...but i dont like this very electronic parts in this song...but nevertheless its a reaaly good song

  • I saw Covenant live in Rome. They deserve a lot as a live band, and this is uncommon for 100% electronic projects...I liked them, now I love them. I will be in Cologne at Amphi to see them again :-)

  • I have read it, and I like it a lot...it's a very frightening vision, but not so unrealistic... :-/

  • I miss the old Black Metal Covenant

    yet this is still good

  • Well i don't miss. becouse this band has never been black metal. u stupido

  • he might not be that stupid coz there is a black metal band called "Kovenant" a oversight i think

  • Well, they're actually two different bands, they just had the same name, by accident, but then the metal band changed it in Kovenant (almost 10 years ago, I think)).

  • I never liked Covenant, but I heard this song by accident and it made me consider giving them a second chance :) They're not as bad as I thought!

  • amazing song ! great lyrics and beautiful music ! makes me want to cry somehow...

  • then fuckoff dude... lol

  • I'm disappointed, more and more ...

  • Thanks! This makes me cry and smile too...

  • I totally agree, Brings a tear to my eye, but doesn't make me sad.

    Afterwards, i feel so good.

  • Yes it is also a special song for me. Don't know why, but it makes me cry but I also feel free!

  • One of my favorite Covenant songs, other than "Tension".

    Thanks for uploading this.

  • i love song! covenant forever!!!!!!!!!
