'Reality' vs. 'Illusion' is such a huge problem in so many ways & in so many areas of 'politics', 'media', etc. I've instictively been worried about this for what seems like about 20 years,...still not eaxctly sure what the answers are...but working on it. Being aware of it is certainly a good place to start.
That was very well done. The sooner people stop believing the truth will ever be provided by anything owned by a profit driven corporation or politicians that campaigned on their dollar, the sooner we can make informed decisions. But the ability to think depends on having food, water, and medicine that is free of brain damaging neurotoxins such as MSG, aspartame, flouride, mercury, and so on. We're being poisoned.
It's the ultimate display of human defect, that the same politicans who rightfully point out the lies of fellow politicians attempt to spin their own lies. In fact, when they point out the lies and follies of others, that is probably the only time they are not lying themselves.
Politician is a synonym for "liar" and "bullshiter". I'm sorry, but anyone who trusts them for a milisecond is either retarded and or hopelessly naive.
It was great but the last comment "puting America first" has something wrong : what if a politician thinks he needs to lie to the people because they are not ready or because it's the honor of the nation that is at stakes. We had that problem in france in the Dreyfus case : the anti-drefus said that he was innocent but had to be condemened to save the honor of the army, otherwise france would be weakened. that's sick.
He can think what he wants. However, he had better understand that achieving a desireable goal can not justify breaking the law, and he will be held accountable for violating his oath of office and our trust no matter what the end result of his actions are. Laws may not all get enforced these days, but it is clear that has to change.
I just wanted to make him notice that nation and truth don't necessarily walk hand in hand. In fact nation, like religion, is often a pretext to confuse people into accepting the unacceptable.

I'm ok with you.

I agree with that. It is important that more people understand your point.
