I just left your video of Giant Steps and left a comment. Stella is by far your shining Star! I knew I would hire you on Giant Steps, but now I'll have to pay you double! Excellent, Jean. But what could people see in somebody knees??? It's the music, silly!!!
dude, that was such a good job, i learned it straight. (usually with amateur chord/melodies, you can't decipher most of the stuff that's going on due to flubs and other crap....yours was tops, though, man.) good work. ...is that a 175? what year?
Response to "Setforvol". By saying natural talent meaning one must have a passion to play on this level to be as good as this young man. Think outside of the box sometimes some people can play music before even learning.
telling people to "think outside of the box" is nonsense. people learn differently, people have different styles, in short, people think differently. those who think outside of the box are those who naturally see things differently. you cant teach someone to do that. talent is translated into hard, hard work. nobody is a natural, they either practice more, or more efficiently then the next. efficiency of practice is huge.

You should really explain that your performance is nothing more then a transcription of "stella" by the great guitarist Tuck Andress..its not right to take credit for others hard work.
Hope it helps !
men please can you please give me a clue on this song . i mean chords , and its scales . i can play it but i need to get your own inversions . i ll be grateful if you do .
SLLOOOOOOOOOWWWW it down....its' very rushed feeling....this is a ballad! you suck the life out of it by playing it like you did

I'm not crazy about that tone (or maybe it's just the recording equipment) but this kid's chops are undeniable.

I don't think this is Tuck Andress. Whoever it is is a fine guitarist, though..

Composers are Victor young and Ned Washington =)
amrob 2 years ago
It's Andress' arrangement of the song.

Thinking outside of the box is to be more open minded on the subject of playing music in general. What is your point on this debate?

Great work, you have a natural talent. Keep playin

There is no such thing as natural talent.
No one can do anything without learning how to first.
