One thing I've kinda taken to doing is fInding the enemy base and sending my overlord into view from a kinda off direction. Ex: my base up from enemy I send overlord in from the bottom or from the direction of another starting area

I usually open with a 7 roach rush (You can just search on the internet for it ^^)

Once you have your 7 roaches, push and force him to go defensive. You can then transition into whatever you want ^^

well zerg in old sc1 has 3 choices. early ling rush, expansion fast, tech with stardard army build up...sc2 bliz gives you a queen which adds more options to rush. if you fail to rush because hes bult a lot of defenses then your army "corner" him. just sits out of range from defenses dont let his units go anywhere else or scout you. then you can either tech or expand (more common). but if you fail b/c he just have bigger army then you then you have already lost just gg it.

he breaths from his cloaca..he bought that upgrade from evolutionary chamber. so his neural crest cells from stomodeum migrate all the way to protodeum and his brochioles attach there for gas exchange with the help of fistula in esophagus. it cost 100 minerals and 100 gas if you want you can also buy it at evolutionary chamber dont forget the side effect you will be closely related to a starfish which should have been a unit in SC2. i wonder what other mutations he has already bought tho.

Could you make a similar tutorial at a lower speed so we know exactly what you're doing? Your APM is over 100 all the time and I can't really catch what you're up to half of the time apart from what you are saying.

another problem w/ zerg is they have the crappiest detection/scouting system ever. their stealth unit require research cannot attack while burrow. the 2 other race have stealth units like ghost banshee, observer dark temp. toss abuse their observer, terran abuse their radar w/ raven and zerg...what? yes overlord needs to further evolve take more time and money and hes not even worth it. tier wise speaking hydra pushed back to 2nd tier make zerg very vulnerable to air rush when you can't scout.

the problem w/ zerg is strategy wise late game zerg is fixed to 2 main units roaches, infestors. you can get baneling, "usually" they dont win you the game especially late game. terran they can go air (banshee bc raven med) ground (siege thor marauder marine ghost) so many choices for toss as well (phoenix, void, so on), (stalker, zelot, templar, dt) very flexible. zerg has no flexibility at all. you have to get lings for this, roach/hydra this time, infestor mandatory, muta annoys.

zerglings are only good in small group fights like 4zerglings vs 2 marines or one zealot they always win but when is like 100 zergling vs 50 marine they always loses. the main thing is zerg strategy is unique b/c of lava distribution. blizzard intends to stay that way as it is one of the best system the original SC offered. with SC2 blizzard did add another strategy factor Queen she cost 150 early game. blizzard seems not quite sure what to do with zerg strat late game just like most pro players

apparently each race has one invisible unit but zerg...they just burrow and move but cannot attack...infesters can toss out infected terran but come on by that time protoss always have an observer maybe 2 or terran dont they always just use their radar whenever? but zergs...their poor overlord get demoted...and seer is a powerful unit but still unlike observer it is not invisible but does have fancy abilities but not as useful. compare to raven i think raven is better.

zerg needs a giant flying mushroom that cannot attack but spray fumes. enemies caught in the cloud will get real high and the enemy player lose control of his unit. and when the giant mushroom dies a bunch of spores will come out and basically causing fungal growth on surrounding air/ground unit the best ability is this flying unit can burrow infect the soil. once resurface again the ground will defiled and little shrooms pop out force enemy units to go near it. the longer it burrow bigger area.

oh i got a great idea what a zerg needs for early rushes as zerg kindda suck late game...they should let overlord be able to "ground" on a non-creep area. like a flyer overlord will be planted on the ground (no longer providing food) but provide creep and (1-2 lava generated like your main building) and become a building like drone buildings but instantly.

you know what zerg needs? its slime unit that can fuse with each other making bigger slime and bigger slmes can be fused with more slimes to make mega slime with giant damage absorbing power and then you load up all the zerglings or those exploding ones inside the slime and move in on those siege tanks lol. its slimy sticky thing can pick up marines and toss mele units into its body. once it dies it will explode and all the contents inside comes out damn would be a cool unit to see haha

@Typhoontoby how much supply you are using. Look in the top right corner, the first number is the number by the build order

So for instance, at 3 min into this video, Husky's supply is 19. So when he says he gets his hatchery around 35, it means 35 supply.
