I listen to mainly instrumentals. Scores, ambient, post-rock. This Will Destroy You and Caspian would probably be my top 2 favourites. Felperc, Yndi Halda, The Album Leaf, and Explosions in the Sky comes close. Hans Zimmer, Steve Jablonsky, Michael Giacchino, and John Williams composes some beautiful scores.

I pretty much love all of the indie bands you mentioned first, but I also love Snow Patrol. They're kind of in the genre, but a lot different. You'd probably like them....
