  • This is definitely a toned-down performance of an extraordinary song.

  • The thinking man's Buddy Holly - ahhh..hey ah..hey! - SHITE!!

  • 'You have never been in love until you have seen the dawn rise behind the home for the blind.' - Incredible.

  • Was Kilborn before Conan O Brian?

  • he's a weird dude,you've got to love him

I want to bite his upper lip

  • he had morrisey on for a full week the one time. those were the days of the late late show

  • he sounds a bit restricted in this. i wonder if he was feeling shitty at the time.

  • @tuttidog ........This is the original version, he changed his voice performance over the years

  • Fuck, I wish Alain was still performing with Morrissey!

  • This performance was the first time I was exposed to Morrissey. The next day I went looking for the album that had this song on it, and I couldn't find it - until two years later when he actually released it.

  • @sweaterfred omg where have u been??lol

  • I like what he's wearing.. as much as I like him in suits I think he looks even better like this.

  • I still have not seen a better live version of this song than the one on this show.

  • uhm i dont think this is 2002. it had to be like 2004 or something.

  • No, Morrissey has been performing this song since 2002. A recorded version of this song wasn't available until 2004.

  • NO! This was 2002!

  • It was definitely 2002. I remember watching it on TV. Great stuff! It was a good 2 years before Quarry cameout. And the next night he did Everyday is Like Sunday! That was during the Kilborn tracking down Morrissey days. Where he would have segments as 'Tuesdays with Morrissey'. Than finally Moz went on.

  • Thanks tns747 for this vid. Did Morrissey play Five Questions? I can't remember. LOL!
