  • "HOLY SHIIIIAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!"

  • I think I just nearly had a heart attack watching this. Part of me wants to do it and the other part knows I wouldn't even get halfway up the tower before bailing.

  • @XxJayBeexX - All the anicipation fear going up the tower goes away in an instant the second you drop. Of course, there is a brief second or so when you think the net should have caught you already....at least I thought so, but it's always a great thrill!

  • @XxJayBeexX Wow I was just commenting same but I saw your comment. Thumbsed up :D

  • Oh man, this actually scared me. I have a really weak stomach so just watching made me hold on to something XD

  • Fuck that..

  • i seriously had my stomach sink watching this.

  • You sir, have thee honor of appearing on Cracked(:

  • @73RULAS - Thank you. I wasn't familiar with the site until I started to see the links show up in my reports. I was wondering where all those hits were coming from.

  • Dude, fuck that. Seriously. I would rather be shot with a beanbag bullet

  • It isnt as scary as it looks. Im only 16 and Ive tryed it. Once you got the will and power you dont think about the rest. For people worrying about the nets. They are very big and soft. Im from Denmark btw

  • No fair his massive balls made him not bounce

  • hmm. why dont they put nets on the sides?

  • The ultimate trust fall

  • Fuck that. Fuuuuck that.

  • How much should I pay to say "Holy Shit" Sir?

  • I'm sitting comfortably in my room, and I nearly shit my pants.

  • @MajorJakobs - Best response I have read so far! You should try riding it. Talk about a full load of thrills! =:^)

  • @SeanFlaharty I don't think any comment of mine has ever garnered this many likes, ever.

  • @MajorJakobs No joke man. I got a shiver during the POV cam.

  • What if you miss the net?

  • @nholt - This has happend before on other towers. It's not a great ending but I haven't heard if anyone has been killed. I know a few people have been injured though.

  • @nholt

I'm pretty sure they take the wind into consideration. And the net is very wide.

  • HOLY SHIII--- AHHHHHHH!

  • Awesome. I wanna go !!!

  • @n0t5ur3 - You should go for it! It's great fun,

  • You're a hero, you get a woman to do it first :|

  • @marelicainavokado - She wanted to go last but once we got to the top of the tower she said it would be better if she went first. At least we captured her scream from above.

  • FUCK. THAT.

  • Now if only we can convince the people who willingly do this to do it without a net, the gene pool would be far cleaner...

  • That was, without a doubt THE most genuine 'HOLY SHIIIII-" I've ever heard.

  • @FoolishTyphron - Indeed! It's pretty damn scary. Even after every ride I have taken.

  • Those orange bars don't look very soft.

  • @kranktank -Soft indeed.

  • @SeanFlaharty hm?

  • cracked!

  • I would love to go on this, Denmark isn't too far away and I seem to have a strong urge to experience near death it seems :s

  • @Spudfish93 - There are a few places around the world that have these. England has one. The United States has a few.

  • how much does the impact hurt?

  • @PutTheGameDown - It doesn't hurt at all.

  • Thanks for the vid post...reading an article on perception in life threatening situations, where time seems to slow down...and did not know what a SCAD was. So for us watching...the fall seemed quick but for you?

  • @oscarjm - You are welcome. Everytime I have done a SCAD dive it seems a lot longer than the few seconds it really takes to hit the net.

  • yeah, tried today - good thing is i am 14 years old, so i kept the requirements.

    - felt like i flew for like 10 seconds.

    - and like i went upside down in the air, but then i got into the net.

  • @Geekftw1 - Good description! It does feel like the fall is much longer.

  • Hooooly shiiit XD

  • @PernilleBorup - Well said! =:^)

  • I did this last week. It was terrifying. Glad I did it though it's a great adrenaline rush.

  • didnt realise there were so many SCAD towers in the world. i thought there was like............3 or something lol

  • There are quite a few towers around the world. I have done them in 3 different countries. I have passed other parks that have then but didn't get the chance to give them a try.

  • Hahaha dude, listen yo yourself; Holy shiiiiiiiiit!, what a laugh :D

  • I am glad the video captured Matt's real reaction. I yelled something similar if I remember correctly.

  • im glad you like the place guys :)

im from Denmark and we are very proud of our tourist stuff in Aarhus just like Tivoli Frihede (tivoli of freedom)

  • While we didn't get to spend much time in the park, we had a great time. The employees there were friendly.

  • totally awesome video! I've only been one one scad tower, in the dells, but it's the best flat ride I've ever been on, and ALMOST the best ride overall.

Definately the scariest, though, unless you count the time my seatbelts opened on cornball express halfway through the ride O_o

  • I haven't tried the tower in the Dells but I bet it's just as good as the versions I have tried elsewhere. The last time I was in the Dells the tower was closed.

I agree though. I find it scarier than almost anything including skydiving and bungy jumping.

  • yup. I've been skydiving. SCAD tower is awsomer and scarier. mostly because skydiving hurts the hell out of your ears.

  • I didn't have a problem with my ears during skydiving but I have heard of others having that problem. The thing about SCAD diving that scares me is the fact you can't see the net coming. There is a second or so on the way down that always makes me think I went through the net.

  • yup, me too, the second you think "WHERE THE HECK IS THE NET?!" you hit it

  • i got on this at the ipppia thingy. it's so fun and it scared the crap ou tof me. totally recommended

  • Out of all the fall-type "rides" I have done like this (bungy, skycoaster, skydiving) the SCAD dive is the scariest I have done. I have maybe 25 SCAD dives/falls at various places but for whatever reason, this Denmark version seemed to be more intense. I am not sure if the drop is longer than the rest but there was something about it that really surprised me. I just don't know what it was.
