  • up the hammer!!! lonnie zaring

    good luck guys

  • from invasion/metal days to their last one voyager. such a grand discography, perfection, up the hammers and blaze up up the manilla road! cant wait for another album!!!

  • How can we find that live? Manilla should release it to a dvd ...

  • Masque of the Red Death by the Hammer of the Witches Brew!

  • A+MG+M+S=MR

  • Mystification the best MR album.

  • @VaggelisLamia

I think their best albums are Crystal Logic, Open The Gate, Metal, Mark Of The Beast and The Deluge. I can't pick just one^^

  • I just noticed that the last song isn't Witches Brew but Hammer of the Witches.

I don't get this "Real Manilla Road" thing... Yeah, the band that returned in 2001 has a different sound but it's easily identifiable as Manilla Road.

I think you guys are mistaking nostalgia with music quality.

  • actually it is both hammer of the witches and witches brew

    Masque of the Red Daeth

    Death by the Hammer

    Hammer of the Witches

    Witches Brew

  • Manilla Road.......the Gods of Epic Metal....Invasion,Mark Of The Best,Metal,Crystal Logic,Open The Gates,The Deluge and Mystification.....the rest not exist.........God bless Manilla Road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I really enjoy their later stuff! And I mean Death by the Hammer isnt even that good.

  • Death by the Hammer is their best song

  • Nah its pretty sub par for MR.

Repetetive half baked verse riff and a less than good chorus with a pretty masturbatory solo....not for me.

  • REAL Manilla Road? with Rick Fisher of course !! But this is also very special, what a bass GOD Scott Park is !

  • That would leave Crystal Logic, Metal and Invasion as the only real MR albums.....

And I mean Randy Foxe is one of the best drummers ive ever heard.

  • And Mark of the Beast...allthough it's more psychedelic than metal and the band wasn't happy with it,but still it's got great songs and atmosphere.

  • everyone gets older so what's the point in talking 'bout REAL Mark Shelton? His late works have disappointed me too, but I would never use that definition for a musician that I love and appreciate so much!

  • If you really love someone then you have to be tough with him and judge his acts.

  • His acts?

  • Okay yeah I watched some recent videos of MR live now and I admit it doesnt sound too good all the time.

But the new albums are really good!

  • What has he done that soo bad then?

  • @pasko1983

his later works kick fucking ass.

  • thats the best videoclip i ever saw from manilla road. anybody has other old clips from thir gigs?

  • this is magic... probably one of the best bands to walk earth's ground!

  • po re magkes!!!ti anevase to atomo!!!!kavla sketi . . . death by the hammer kai ta myala sta kagkela!!!!!!!KARGA METAL!!!!!!!!!!1

  • My daddy gave Manilla Road their very 1st gig in Wichita, Ks. in 1977 at his bar named Dancin Boogie Your Butt Off on W. Central. They were just kids and were not even old enough to drink. My dad gave them the cover charge for their pay and they thought they hit the lottery! Mark is the best guitar player even today! He isn't the greatest vocalist, but he OWNS guitar playin!

  • Wow!:D If you've some old photos, why don't you put them on a slideshow??

Unfortunately in 1988 I was only 2 years old, but I like Manilla Road so much(especially 80s works)!Awesome!!!

  • All Haill MArk Shelton. The truest of the true.

  • So what does 'Hail to the REAL Mark Shelton' mean?? Just curious.... Shark's as real as he's ever been.

  • Have you ever seen Manilla Road live today?

  • Yeah, he's close to 50 years of age and still plays like a mofo (even though he needs Hellroadie to perform the more taxing vocal parts). Roads of Fire and Voyager are also both kickass albums once you get over the fact that they're not as blistering fast as the Road's 80s material.

  • Its still great

  • @heavymetal1983

Manilla Road live today isnt exactly something to get excited over since Mark Shelton's magic voice cant be upfront but his solo's are still great!

And all the newer albums have their moments of greatness even if Gates of Fire really only had one.

  • AYTA EINAI!ZONTANOI THRYLOI!

  • UP THE HAMMERS!!!

  • Manilla Road will never die. Mark Shelton will always kick ass

  • This is Manilla Road.Real Manilla Road.let them talk,we know what real Manilla Road is and its dead.RIP.

  • What the Fuck!

  • Mark "The Shark" for US PRESIDENT!!

  • best band ever!Ancient epic metal video relic!

  • AMMANICO!!

  • Far Out! in 1988 I was 23, I saw Manilla Road wherever they played. THAT must be the old Rock Island. Hard to tell tho

  • Do you have more manilla videos of this era? I am really interested to have anything. Please contact me if it's possible

  • Manilla Road Re Mounia!
