About your traffic do you use an tarffic addon and flt with that taffic online I tought it's the computer or real people many tarffic on oslo??

@MaxOfficialX Its a combination between a traffic addon and other live pilots flying. The Oslo area has oftentimes a good amount of traffic.

Hey krsan78 nice Guide. But i have one question. Im 16 and german, so my english isnt the best. Is there any guide for english calls? I wont use the german language, because i want it much realistic as possible.

Great tutorial, just one thing. How come the other aircraft in the airport show up as real airlines, on vatsim other aircraft show up as bad animated "VIP" aircraft

@Franciscoleandro2 Fortunately, its just that the ground controller is a friend of mine that I asked to cover the position during the video, and he is somewhat "special" *smiles* In addition to that, the atc sound is of lesser quality than you would normally hear because of the way it is recorded.

@barferful You *can* but you shouldnt. All transmissions on unicom 122.80 is to be text only according to vatsim regulation.

hi mate, this is a great tutorial for beginners like I was ;)

the one problem I have is understanding the controllers, sometimes they are hard to hear and arn`t clear (like they are mumbling) so sometimes its hard to comprehend what their saying. How do you overcome that? Anything you recommend?

@averredude101 Thanks! :) Well, its a quite common problem. There are three ways to overcome it: 1) Adjust your volume, and turn off the "radio static simulation" feature in FSInn. 2) Experience will help you figure out what is actually being said. Everything follows a flow that oftentimes make it obvious what the controller said. 3) Ask the controller to communicate on text.

@webmaster988 PMDG NGX expensive but well worth it!

@trabang yea! and it has to be in beast machines to play the way it meant to be played, rite?

@webmaster988 Well not really, I used it on my laptop which is 2.2 GHz not anywhere near a gaming beast and it was fine. And with the new updates for it you can tune the plane individually for the lower end machines. Its like anything with PC, the more u spend the better it will look and run but I wouldnt consider the pmdg ngx a resource hog or FPS killer as they say. Learning curve if its your first payware plane though.

@deadman084 Thank you! Well, Im afraid Im often busy in real life. One 15 minute episode can take anywhere from 2 - 6 hours to make, so I need to have the time to do it. I will see about doing some more in the spring of 2012.

@gravitypullsyoudown Thank you! This is flight simulator X with PMDGs 737-800NGX. I use Active Sky Evolution, Shade, Real Environment X and a few other addons. I also have a pretty expensive custom built pc (although it is not the best per say). FSX can be a pretty expensive hobby :)

also i have just opened my fsx and it comes with a tab labled:

FSFDT Control Panel (saying)

Component COMDLG32.OCX or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

what should I do

(I have windows 7 in that helps?)

@777Boin It sounds like your installation is faulty. You need to make sure that User Account Control (UAC) is turned off during installation, and also turn off your antivirus program (during install).

@krsans78 yea i just managed to work it out just before i read your reply. All I needed to do was run it as an administrator

I thought i was already doing that.

Great tutorials by the way, i havent actually used vatsim yet but i am sure they will be very useful when i do :)

@777Boin This is probably an error caused by a) User Account Control in Windows. Turn it off during installation. b) Your antivirus program. Turn it off during installation.

@777Boin Custom airtraffic liveries can be made to show up, but this is not my forte. I tried rather unsuccessfully to do so myself

@alexost92 Thanks. Well if by "properly" you mean why I didnt turn the nose on pushback, its because its standard procedure on Gardermoen to push straight back and not turn.

Thank you. The bumping effect is an addon called EZDok. Its a view-point addon, which gives you a lot of freedom to move around both inside and outside your aircraft.

Some aircrafts are from My Traffic 2010, and other aircrafts shows were other vatsim pilots.

Are alle the aircrafts seen vatsim traffic?, for me all vatsim traffic is very laggy.
