The U.N resolutions are a joke. If tomorrow an arab country will suggest a resolution that the world is flat it will have majority and the resolition will succeed.
The U.N is patethic. It is an organisation that gives automatic democratic majority to totaliterian and fashists arab countries therefore you see so many vetoes from U.S, it is the only way to stop the arabs automatic majority voting
Why did the UN not help the people in palestine for 63 years. Ban Ki Mon and his crew in the UN are obliged to help the palestinian land because palestine is a member of the UN. Free the Palestine Land. UN G20 G8 !!!!
There have been a number of other clear examples of the UN's clear bias against Israel such that Israel would be foolish to abide by any UN resolutions that would not only not be in its best interests but would surely spell its annihilation.
@chrisdef15 The fact that there have been so many UN resolutions against Israel is a direct result of the following:
1.) Arab countries & their allies represent a huge voting block in the U.N. ( 55 Muslim member states).
2.) The widespread anti-semitism throughout the world
3.) The lack of understanding of the historical events surrounding Israel, its emergence as a country, & the wars waged against in the ensuing years. Cont'd
1/ 55 isnt a majority so means nothing and if you check the records alot of Western countries either vote against Israel or at best (for Israel) abstain, they certainly arent on Israel's side.
2/The typical excuse, if someone doesnt like what Israel does they are anti semitic, what rubbish. Even if it was true why? They must deserve it if most of the world dislikes them.
3/Most people know exactly what happened, Americans with there biased news and histories dont.
4.) The UN has been silent on many issues where there were abuses against Israel.
5.) The human reaction to side with the perceived underdog & downtrodden. (Although Israel represents only 1/10th of 1% of the land owned by the Arab countries).
And not every country considers it Palestinian land - and if they do they are wrong.
4/ The UN has been silent on many issues, they arent perfect but they are the best there is.
5/ Ofcourse every country knows its Palestinian land, who doesnt? Name me a country that has recognised Jewish claims to the land? There isnt a single one including the US.
@chrisdef15 55 countries is not a majority but it certainly helps make up the majority and the influence of those oil rich countries is powerful because many countries need those resources. The anti-semitism I mentioned is very real and I hardly think anyone like you would shed a single tear if the Arabs were able to wipe out the Jews like they certainly would have if they were able. Yet the Jews try to make peace and are criticized for it and blamed for everything.
How can idiots like you possibly claim they want peace while still illegally settling palestinian land. Untill they stop doing that there will never ever be peace and they know that so obviously couldnt care less.
@chrisdef15 YOU are the propagandist! Just how does Israel occupy Palestine? 1) Jews lived their 1st 2) They maintained a continuous presence there 3)Much of the area was bought from Arab & Turks 4) Much of the land was won in skirmishes - started by BOTH sides 5) More land was acquired when the Arabs waged war against Israel - a foolish gamble on their part.
1/The land was given to the Palestinians by the UN. Jews living there doesnt mean they own it all especially when Arabs where the majority by far. Palestinians got what would of been Palestine, Jew's got Israel.
2/so have the arabs but im much larger numbers
3/Most of it wasnt bought at all.
4/Modern moral countries who follow International law dont win land.
5/neighbouring countries attacked to protect Palestinians.
@chrisdef15 The UN partitioned the land - the Jews happily accepted the partition but the Arabs waged war instead. Neighboring counries joined in NOT to protect Palestinians but to wipe out the Jews and take their homes and land. Israel has repeatedly withdraw from lands it won and has offered land in the interest of peace but this has never been accepted. Gaza is the most recent example.
I agree the Arabs should of just accepted but in saying that i can guarantee the US (and most countries) would of done the same thing, you really think the US would let the UN come in and take half its land?? Ofcourse not.
And maybe the did plan to wipe out any they could but there is plenty of evidence they where there to help the Palestinians and had many provacations from Israel.
@chrisdef15 How was all the land owned by the Arabs? They and the Turks sold land to the Jews and huge tracts of land were bought by the Jewish Nat'l Fund. Plus many Jews had already lived there for centuries, Other areas the Arabs didn't want since they could not farm them - the Negev for example - which was a huge part of what the UN granted to Israel. And what about the British Mandate?
@chrisdef15 Most of the land had no deeds whatsoever. There was plently of open land and even more land that was not felt to be inhabitable until the Jews developed ways to reclaim the land and designed irrigation systems. The Arabs & Turks who sold their land & homes to the Jews charged exorbitant prices - and then they killed many of them in their brutal massacreas
@chrisdef15 "Blah Blah blah" that;s all you've got?! Some refutation! Running out of lies I see. This has nothing to do with what what is taught in the US - or anywhere else - but what is objective fact. As far as Australia, it appears that many of you are quite to blame Israel and Jews for everything under the sun while completely ignoring all the crimes in the Muslim world - and the true inhumanity in other places of the world such as Africa, N Korea, etc. I would why that is?
LOL our news and education shows/teaches us plenty about the rest of the world. But this clip is about Israel moron hence why we are talking about Israel.
And yes bad things happen in other places but again this clip is about Israel, go to a clip on Africa or North Korea if thats what you want to talk about.
The fact is this conflict is one of the major issues of the world.
@chrisdef15 My point is why should this conflict be a major issue in the world when the numbers pale in comparison to other situations that are much graver & there are much worse abuses. But your sorry ass is so filled with hatred for Jews that all you focus on are your bullshit charges of this and that while completely ignoring the antecedents of the conflict and the provocations from the Arab site of the equation. You think you are the judge and jury & Israel is on trial. Now that is funny!
@chrisdef15 Consequences?! Yeah Arabs who choose to live in peace in Israel enjoy all the rights of equal citizens. Yes - those who elect terrorist organizations and who seek to harm Israel face consequences for their actions. Gaza, for example, could have enjoyed a thriving economy, with free movement or goods and people but by their actions they have brought appropriate consequences upon themselves.
Check again buddy, a simple search or "Israeli Arab discrimination" will show you that Arabs in Israel certainly arent equal in reality even if they are on paper.
And yes im sure Gaza could of done those things, but they would also be cowards and traitors. Say the US was occupied and they gave back California do you honestly believe Americans would work alongside the occupiers and wouldnt be fighting for the rest of there land? Ofcourse they would fight.
@chrisdef15 YOU check YOUR facts - Arabs living in Israel get preference for Israeli university positions, don't have to serve in the armed forces, get free healthcare, many pay no taxes, they can work in government jobs, hold political office, & are represented in the Knesset. If the Arabs won the wars they started there would not be a single Jew left alive in the country. You can bet on that! All of the charters of Arab groups call for death to Jews whereas Israel's calls for equal rights.
LOL check again, yes some of those things are right ON PAPER but just as i said in reality it doesnt work out like that. Even Arabs in the Knesset have said many times they are ignored and marginalised.
@232323C Sure they have equla rights - Israelis are just tired of provocation and dealing with those who want them and their country destroyed. The only reason the rockets have stopped is that Israel had harsh reprisals after enduring nearly 10,000 rockets over 3 years. So how are the Israelis still wanting revenge pray tell?
@chrisdef15 Well maybe what your California example shows is that Israel should never trade land for peace (as it has repeatedly tried to do and failed). The Arabs will never be happy unless all of Israel belongs to them. It doesn't matter that Arabs already own 99.9% of the land in the Middle East. That gives Israel a whole 1/10th of 1%.
If thats how you wanna take it, but the fact is you cant deny if the US or any other country was in the Palestinians position they would fight back too.
When has Israel tried land for peace? They are always unfair deals that keep Jerusalem and all the water rights to themselves, as if Palestinians will ever take deals like that. If they really wanted peace they would be fair.
And all Arabs want Israel destroyed? Wow talk about a generalization.
@chrisdef15 The US did not go about massacring all of its immigrants - in fact they welcomed people of races, religions, and nationalities - unlike the Palestinians who started massacring the Jews - not just the ones who had recently immigrated but ones whose families had been living there for generations. I suppose you think the UN partition plan was unfair? Other land for peace deals where quite generous but always rejected because they won't even recognize Israel's right to exist.
Because the immigrants in the US didnt run around openly saying they wanted there own country, that is a very big difference. And thats not entirely true, there have been many cases of rapes and murder by "minutemen" on Mexicans crossing the border.
And yes the partition plan was unfair, the amount of land was in no way fair going off the much larger Palestinian population. I still think going back to the partition plan would solve alot of the current problems though.
@chrisdef15 The Israelis gave the Palestinian's the Gaza Strip and removed 8,000 Israelis who lived in that area, and what did they get in return?
They elect a group whose charter calls for Isael's destruction. Rockets and bombs threatening over a half a million Israelis, broken truces and ceasefires, and continued aggression/terrorism.
Only an idiot would think that wouldnt of happened. Again you really think if the US was occupied and then given back only 5% of your land that you wouldnt of fought from there? Ofcourse you would of.
And those bad things are only still happeneding because of the illegal occupation. So it comes back to Israel needs to stop what its doing if it ever wants peace.
@chrisdef15 Stop with the mindless exaggerations! The UN gave the Arabs a hell of lot more than 5%. They got the majority of the workable land while Israel got the Negev desert and some other areas - many of which they had to reclaim to make them farmable. Your "illegal occupation" phrase is getting old. Are you even aware of the millions of Arab who left at the behest of their leaders who promised them they could return and take possesion of the homes and land of the vanquished Jews.
@chrisdef15 The UN is far from perfect and I can name several examples of how they were silent on issues when Israel was attacked or wronged and yet when Israel does anything it is trumped up and they are condemned.
Israel has diplomatic relations with 157 countries - virtually all of whom recognise its legitimacy and claims to the land.
There is plenty of things Israel has done that hasnt been condemned too genius.
And again proving your ignorance, im not talking about ISrael itself, im talking about the occupied territories (East Jerusalem and The West Bank), Israel cliams it as Israeli land and has thousands of Jewish settlers guarded by the IDF living on it, while the rest of the world says it Palestinian land. You dont even know what your arguing about.
@chrisdef15 You mention the West Bank - Palestinians claim it should be theirs when it belonged to Jordan before the 1967 war. And Gaza - another area the Palestinians claim - belonged to Egypt. You really need to do some reading and studying and stop getting your education from Jewish hate sites on the internet.
When seven Arab armies attacked the State of Israel following the resolution, the UN did nothing to interfere in what looked to be the imminent destruction of the re-born Jewish state. When the battle turned and Israel began beating back the invading armies the UN dispatched Swedish Count Folke Bernadotte as their mediator in the conflict. Bernadotte did everything in his power to limit the success of Israels military until he was gunned down. The UN has always been unfairly against Israel.
@232323C Oh I am on a propaganda payroll?! Looks like you follow right behind me. Sorry if you resent my taking Israel's side but I have studied Middle East history for 38 years and know true propaganda when I see it - and I know historical truths.
@JerrySPsy i don't resent you..I respect your years of study .The violence on both sides is insaneand YES i can understand the anger over rockets ..I am against what they do also...I don't just leave comments against Israelis I hate extremism...the Palis do have a legitimate gripe but so do the Israelis.....i dunno...I guess war is inevitable.I know that treating the Palistinians like the settlers do is wrong and throwing stones and killing Jews is wrong.i am helpless but to watch..and comment.
one day the the USA will discaver the Jewish lopy who controll there life then the history will repeat it self and it will be all over the world. and no pleace to hide
With the Jewish state serving as a scapegoat, authoritarian states, including China, Russia, Zimbabwe, Venezuela & Iran, will get a free ride at a conference supposedly dealing with oppression. Countries like North Korea, Libya, Sudan & Somalia, whose citizens enjoy neither political rights nor civil liberties, will strut about as they judge Israel.
First of all, nobody attacks anyone without a reason unless the person is crazy, which is not the case. Second, Israel is promoting genocide in Middle East, not the arabian people.
During the last fight, for example, more than a thousand of palestinians were killed and only ten isaeli civilians lost their lives.
Moreover, if Palestine had been recognized by UN as an official state and Israel had allowed the International Humanitarian Help in the region, the conflits would haven't existed.
A famous quote regarding the UN's bias against Israel and its favor towards fascist Muslim countries, a direct result of the large majority that the 52 Muslim countries have against the one and only Jewish country, is the following: "If Algeria introduced a resolution declaring that the earth was flat and that Israel had flattened it, it would pass by a vote of 164 to 13 with 26 abstentions."
One day after the Israel declared itself as an independent nation (May 14, 1948), Lebanese, Syrian, Iraqi, Egyptian, and Transjordanian troops, supported by Saudi and Yemenite troops, attacked the nascent Jewish state, triggering the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. That day Azzam Pasha (Secretary-General of the Arab League) announced:
"
This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades".
George W Bush has clearly lost his marbles and is seeing in the mirror all he has done but is seeing it as other Countries doing his crimes. Look at this Video and judge for yourself

The United Nations doesn't work, not because it's innately useless, in fact it's an INCREDIBLY powerful organisation for peace, but ALL nations abuse the UN for their own biased agenda.
The first order of business by the UN was valid, and the 5 Arab armies that tried to massacre Israel forever de-legitimized the UN afterward. They completely disregarded the first action of the UN. How do you expect Israel to abide when UN couldnt save Israel from a massacre? Also Arabs dominate the UN, the UN votes democratically so many UN sanctions against Israel. Funny thing is, all these Arab nations that dominate the UN democracy, are undemocratic fascist theocratic countries.
If 5 arab armies didn't attack simultaneously, and violate original UN Resol, there would have been a Palestine in 1948, a very large Palestine, & indefensible borders for Israel
The UN Partition Plan for Palestine or UN General Assembly Resolutio 181 was a plan approved by the G Assembly on Nov29, 1947 to terminate the British Mandate of Palestine by Aug 1, 1948, and facilitate the creation of 2 states, one Jewish and one Arab. The plan was approved by a vote of 33 to 13, with 10 abstentions
Anybody with any common sense knows Israel commits crimes against the Palestinians! You are a lying ass dude!Your country says Israel on your profile so of course you will lie!Israel doesn't even belong to the jews that inhabit it now they got the land from Britain after WWII and the land didn't even belong to them! The people that inhabit it are not even from this land they are from Ashkere a country near Germany do some real research!Quit trying to keep spewing false ass propaganda!
How is truth a pathetic response, people are starting to wake up to the truth about zionism and Israel! That is why they are trying to stop Iran's president from speaking because they know he is telling the truth!Israel is a grimy ass country and if people just do some research they will see it!I suggest people look into videos made by PROTHINK he does a very good job in researching the facts about Israel!
Yeah. I'll be sure to respond to it when its revealed. Problem is, you haven't and merely resort to another one of your hopeless diatribes that amount to nothing.
Israel is a success story. Problem is, the surrounding Arab countries are envious.
So enjoy the videos as a source of knowledge. And you call this 'research'.
Israel is a joke and it is an evil country! The fact is that the rest of the world is waking up to this and they are beginning to realize that the United States is broke and we no longer have the power of ruling the world, which is why the rat zionist are all running to China now because they are most likely to be the next superpower! That is the history of the zionist that inhabit Israel they are backstabbing liars and they use countries to fight their wars because they cant fight for themselves!
Funny how this Al Jazeera bit totally ignores that these resolutions regard the return of ALL refugees, Jew, Muslim and Christian to return to their places of residency AND live in peace. Not only for these Palestinian refugees and also after a state of belligerency has ended, which it hasn't.
Also, doesn't state the one-sided resolutions normally forwarded by the Arab bloc in the UN, just that the US vetoes.
Another pointless allegation of the US being Israel's puppet. Actually, its the other way around. You don't know the history of how many times the US has screwed over Israel. The biggest one being the NSA's refusal to tell Israel of the Arab sneak attack in 1973, costing thousands of lives.
These resolutions aren't backed by many. More nations abstain, apart from the Muslim majority African nations....
Boy have you got your facts wrong. Yet you have complete faith in your understanding of the facts. A sure sign that you have been successfully targeted by marketers and propagandists.
Ask your mother to put on your big boy pants, then take your watermelon head and waddle out to the short bus waiting outside to take you to your paste eating class.
You are crazy do you know how many dual citizens of Israel are in our government!Micheal Chertoff,Joe Lieberman, just to name 2 and also AIPAC is the most powerful lobby in the USA!Plus look at the attack on the USS Liberty in which Israel attacked an unarmed American ship!
So you have a problem with people who hold dual citizenship. These people live in the US, so what?
AIPAC takes care of their own interests and numerous times are separate from Israel's interests. Plenty of more powerful lobbyist groups: Tyco, Aramco, Farmers Union, etc.
USS Liberty is a gray area since it was spying on Israel and feeding intel of IDF troop movements to the Egyptians in 1967 to the Brit intel center in Cyprus. Why else would the NSA have a transmitting station in Cairo?
You are absolutely wrong about the USS Liberty!Israel attacked it and our own president covered it up not to put blame on Israel, because if it was spying then why wouldn't we claim that it was shot at!Secondly dual citizens of Israel are more loyal to Israel than to America! Also you are wrong about AIPAC and they are the most pwerful lobby in fact they are going to court about spying on the US,but the zionist owned media is keeping that out of the news!Get your facts straight and knowledge up!!
Strange how the USS Liberty was the only ship under NSA control. Still haven't stated anything of why the NSA would have an intelligence center in Cairo and why the USS Liberty put itself in harm's way when it was advised not to.
AIPAC's power is overrated.
Hilarious the utter propaganda you try to spoon out here.
What you are saying is idiotic! Why do the American taxpayers give Israel money and guaranteed loans to this day!Israel has infiltrated America and spies on us they also control our government more than our people do!Why does every Presidential candidate talk about supporting Israel, your propaganda doesn't work anymore, plus Israel is responsible for more UN human rights violations than any other country in the world, also Israel cries holocaust yet they are killing tons of Palestinians!
You guys sprout up in youtube with utter misunderstandings of how the Private military industry works. There is no 'giving' of anything. This money is injected into US industry and employs US citizens.
By the way, 2006-2007 Israel exported more Israeli weapons tech to the US (~2.5-3 billion) compared to US's 2.1 billion.
Pakistan received 5.1 billion over 2006 and 2007 and that's money down the drain.
So bicker away. UN violations? You mean resolutions created by the Arab bloc.
More bullcrap,we gave Israel 5 Billion in foreign aid this year that does not include guaranteed loans, yes human rights violations against the Palestinians! You are forcing them to live in deplorable conditions and it is disgusting how you always cry anti-semite when 80% of the jews in Israel arre from Ahkanazi decent and are not the Israelites from the bible and they are not semetic!Israel is a joke period you are violating UN law by having Nuclear weapons and wont let the UN inspectors in!
Israel is not allowed to posess nuclear weapons because they did not sign the treaty!Iran is allowed and yet look,I know my country starts wars because Israel and dual citizens of Israel have infiltrated our government and zionism is a racist disgusting religion!Plus with all the money the US gives Israel it averages out to 23,ooo per Israeli of American taxpayer money!
Wow, for your age, you really know very very little on how the world works. Look up NPT and what it refers to. States nothing to if one's not a signatory that one isn't allowed to possess nuclear weapons. Eg Pakistan, India.
Zionism isn't a religion, its an ideology of the return of Jews to their place of origin. Islamists did far worse by expelling and murdering the kaffirs on the Arabian peninsula. Israel is attempting to live in peace with its neighbors, but to no avail
'Before beginning my talk I want to tell you something about Moses.
When he struck the rock and it brought forth water, he thought, 'What a good opportunity to have a bath!' He removed his clothes; put them aside on the rock and entered the water. When he got out and wanted to dress, his clothes had vanished. A Palestinian had stolen them.'
There was no Palestine as a country, and neither were there Arabs that referred to themselves as 'Palestinians' prior to the existence of the resurrected term 'Palestine' thanks to the British.
Even in the Quran, 'Palestine'/'Falastin' does not exist.
3/4 of those who call themselves 'Palestinians' weren't more than 1st/2nd generation immigrants prior to Israel's independence in 1948.
if the united states tells the israelies to give up land they won in the war in 68 then the united states have to give up taxes and new mexico they won from mexico.don't think so!
Fuck the UN. Giving a bunch of greasy third worlders any sort of power was a mistake. They can't run their own countries, and we should listen to them. Yah right.
Bush needs to shut up and just fade away. As if any of his verbal contributions carry any "good" for the world at all. Its his and his fathers fault that the world is in the state its in to begin with! They had enough time to "do good" as the so called police of the world.
How long can America misuse its power to pick and choose the UN resolutions it will uphold? I hope soon that those powers who can stand up to America economically if not militarily do so.
Man you guys havent seen what the rep from Syria told the UN council? The rep claims that the IDF are invaders from mars to wipe out everyone on earth. This coming from a rep of a country still at war with Israel.Yeesh and they call us conspiracy theorists. What a fracking crackpot.
Jews, Muslims, and Christians, you should be ashamed. You are human beings, belonging to the same world, and according to all YOUR holy books, the same GOD.
Ya know that HELL you are all so afraid of, well your doing a great job of creating one HERE on EARTH!
If I had one wish for humanity, it would be to wish all three of you phony, reason sucking ticks, off of humanity's ass, so human beings could live in peace!
Religion is but the medium, not the root. Would Picasso have never created art if he didn't have paint? No, he would have used another medium.
Religion is not the cancer, it is the tumor.
Remove the tumor and don't get rid of the cancer, well the cancer is still there.
The cancer is human nature, my friend. The cancer is the desire for power. Religion allows leaders to have great power and a complicit population, it's but a tool, not the root cause
It is ignorance, and the blind faith that religions demand that benefit the elite and cause wars that destroy the lower classes. I don't claim to know all the answers, but after checking out all religions, including the one I was raised in for fifty-eight years, Christianity; in my opinion, they are a load of archaic, propaganda crap from the dark ages.
and who might you be? is your name God? how do you know its jews muslims and christians? why generalise for? its a little more than just saying its all three of those. besides, you're forgetting the other new main religion of this planet, CAPITALISM.
Whoops! I forgot that one! LOL Your right! The "golden calf" rides high above all our heads, even the heads of the three ticks. (smile) Hell, they will trade the blood of the people, for profit any day! I wonder what their God thinks about that?
The reason the US supports Israel is because of a powerful coalition of Christian fundamentalists and Jewish Xionists and their lobby organization AIPAC which control US foreign policy and makes them veto UN resolutions against Israel. Most Americans don't even know its going on because of their control over the news media.
The reason the U.S supports Israel is because they have an alliance.I really dont believe that if rockets were being fired from Canada or Mexico at U.S population centres that the U.S govt would hum and haw at the UN about it.They would strike hard and swiftly to silence those militants.
The UN is as worthless as the USA causes it to be, and that is something that we (USA) need to educate ourselves about - which is currently near impossible because of our controlled media. We (the USA) should learn to use our "power" as a baton rather than a club - as this administration has been doing.
I dont get why we support Isreal the way we do. I've never heard much in the way of tactical or military reasons that hold any water, and frankly it doesnt HELP us diplomatically, and there is no quid pro quo allegience benefits I can see. I dont hate Israel, but I dont hate Palestine either.
So Israel acting all militant and pissing people off and us vetoing any method to reign them in doesnt make any sense to me.
It's cause no US politician running for any office of credence will get elected without supporting Israel. Being anti-Israel is taboo, and offices such as AIPAC will make sure you won't get elected.
I know it's taboo, and that's what confuses me. I dont buy into Jewish/Israeli conspiracy theories about the uber-lobby maintained to keep our connections with Israel.
It seems...well, deeper than that. Like support of Israel is some sort of "default" that we resign ourselves to. And that the onus is on reasoning for change, not for maintaining the status quo.

the UN is stacked against Israel because of the 22 Islamic States that own the oil these countries want. There are 22 plus Islamic States...and one Jewish one. How can you people be so blind. We need a Jewish state because of your not understanding the reason for WW2 and how many of your countries, closed their eyes.
and poland and austria and france and holland and hungery and and and - get the idea? so leave them their postage stamp state where they don't need to worry about ignorants and bigots
If the first UN resolution regarding the British mandate and the declaration of the State of Israel and the land given to Jordan and Egypt for a Palestinian State had been followed there would have been peace in 1957. Since then so much has happened, one UN comment or declaration is nothing, without them all. Besides the UN is so stacked against Israel, with all the Islamic votes, how can anything be fair to Israel.
Let's see....Saddam ignores UN resolutions and the US bombs and occupies Iraq, but Israel ignores UN resolutions and the US doesn't care. Stupid fukin politicians, wish they would all go back to being venture capitalists in the midwest.
agreed, but there is a reason the world bank and the pentagon are the target of hatred. to address these reasons is the only way to prevent terrorism.

wow dont offend the open ended resolution pushers. osama should have passed up the towers and flew aplane into the UN, but alas he would have lost his greatest supporters
his greatest supporters have always been the US, first directly in afghanistan, now by proving osama bin laden's rational basis for hatred towards the US.
there was no rational basis for the attack on the twin towers. If you remember correctly Afghanistan was invaded after september 11th to find bin laden. Your juxtaposing your argument mate.

There have been a number of other clear examples of the UN's clear bias against Israel such that Israel would be foolish to abide by any UN resolutions that would not only not be in its best interests but would surely spell its annihilation.

Whats biased about it?
There isnt a single country in the world who supports Israel's claim to the land. Every country (except Israel) considers it Palestinian land.

JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy
5/neighbouring countries attacked to protect Palestinians.
chrisdef15 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 The UN partitioned the land - the Jews happily accepted the partition but the Arabs waged war instead. Neighboring counries joined in NOT to protect Palestinians but to wipe out the Jews and take their homes and land. Israel has repeatedly withdraw from lands it won and has offered land in the interest of peace but this has never been accepted. Gaza is the most recent example.
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy
I agree the Arabs should of just accepted but in saying that i can guarantee the US (and most countries) would of done the same thing, you really think the US would let the UN come in and take half its land?? Ofcourse not.
And maybe the did plan to wipe out any they could but there is plenty of evidence they where there to help the Palestinians and had many provacations from Israel.
chrisdef15 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 How was all the land owned by the Arabs? They and the Turks sold land to the Jews and huge tracts of land were bought by the Jewish Nat'l Fund. Plus many Jews had already lived there for centuries, Other areas the Arabs didn't want since they could not farm them - the Negev for example - which was a huge part of what the UN granted to Israel. And what about the British Mandate?
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy
Its called having deeds, the British mandate didnt stop private owenship of land.
chrisdef15 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 Most of the land had no deeds whatsoever. There was plently of open land and even more land that was not felt to be inhabitable until the Jews developed ways to reclaim the land and designed irrigation systems. The Arabs & Turks who sold their land & homes to the Jews charged exorbitant prices - and then they killed many of them in their brutal massacreas

@JerrySPsy
Again blah blah blah, is this really what you guys get taught in the US? I feel sorry for you.
chrisdef15 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 "Blah Blah blah" that;s all you've got?! Some refutation! Running out of lies I see. This has nothing to do with what what is taught in the US - or anywhere else - but what is objective fact. As far as Australia, it appears that many of you are quite to blame Israel and Jews for everything under the sun while completely ignoring all the crimes in the Muslim world - and the true inhumanity in other places of the world such as Africa, N Korea, etc. I would why that is?
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy
LOL our news and education shows/teaches us plenty about the rest of the world. But this clip is about Israel moron hence why we are talking about Israel.
And yes bad things happen in other places but again this clip is about Israel, go to a clip on Africa or North Korea if thats what you want to talk about.
The fact is this conflict is one of the major issues of the world.
chrisdef15 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 My point is why should this conflict be a major issue in the world when the numbers pale in comparison to other situations that are much graver & there are much worse abuses. But your sorry ass is so filled with hatred for Jews that all you focus on are your bullshit charges of this and that while completely ignoring the antecedents of the conflict and the provocations from the Arab site of the equation. You think you are the judge and jury & Israel is on trial. Now that is funny!
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy
LOL more complete crap.
Yes more people die in other places but it has no where near the consequences of things that happen in Israel.
chrisdef15 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 Consequences?! Yeah Arabs who choose to live in peace in Israel enjoy all the rights of equal citizens. Yes - those who elect terrorist organizations and who seek to harm Israel face consequences for their actions. Gaza, for example, could have enjoyed a thriving economy, with free movement or goods and people but by their actions they have brought appropriate consequences upon themselves.
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy
Ofcourse they would fight.
chrisdef15 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 YOU check YOUR facts - Arabs living in Israel get preference for Israeli university positions, don't have to serve in the armed forces, get free healthcare, many pay no taxes, they can work in government jobs, hold political office, & are represented in the Knesset. If the Arabs won the wars they started there would not be a single Jew left alive in the country. You can bet on that! All of the charters of Arab groups call for death to Jews whereas Israel's calls for equal rights.
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy
LOL check again, yes some of those things are right ON PAPER but just as i said in reality it doesnt work out like that. Even Arabs in the Knesset have said many times they are ignored and marginalised.
chrisdef15 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy too bad your settlers , police and armed forces don't care about equal rights....its one thing to say it its another to do it........
232323C 1 year ago
@232323C Sure they have equla rights - Israelis are just tired of provocation and dealing with those who want them and their country destroyed. The only reason the rockets have stopped is that Israel had harsh reprisals after enduring nearly 10,000 rockets over 3 years. So how are the Israelis still wanting revenge pray tell?
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 Well maybe what your California example shows is that Israel should never trade land for peace (as it has repeatedly tried to do and failed). The Arabs will never be happy unless all of Israel belongs to them. It doesn't matter that Arabs already own 99.9% of the land in the Middle East. That gives Israel a whole 1/10th of 1%.
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy
Wow talk about a generalization.
chrisdef15 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 The US did not go about massacring all of its immigrants - in fact they welcomed people of races, religions, and nationalities - unlike the Palestinians who started massacring the Jews - not just the ones who had recently immigrated but ones whose families had been living there for generations. I suppose you think the UN partition plan was unfair? Other land for peace deals where quite generous but always rejected because they won't even recognize Israel's right to exist.
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy

JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy
Only an idiot would think that wouldnt of happened. Again you really think if the US was occupied and then given back only 5% of your land that you wouldnt of fought from there? Ofcourse you would of.
And those bad things are only still happeneding because of the illegal occupation. So it comes back to Israel needs to stop what its doing if it ever wants peace.
chrisdef15 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 Stop with the mindless exaggerations! The UN gave the Arabs a hell of lot more than 5%. They got the majority of the workable land while Israel got the Negev desert and some other areas - many of which they had to reclaim to make them farmable. Your "illegal occupation" phrase is getting old. Are you even aware of the millions of Arab who left at the behest of their leaders who promised them they could return and take possesion of the homes and land of the vanquished Jews.
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy
Get some reading comprehension skills, i said Israel only gave back 5%.
And Arabs left because theywhere being terrorised by Jew's in the same way we see the settlers act still today.
chrisdef15 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 Make yourself clear when you write something. Arabs left for three reasons
1) They knew they were losing the wars and conflicts they started & fled.
2) They were told to leave by the Arab Higher Committee so that when they returned they could take over the homes and land of the vanquished Jews,
3) Some were displaced by the Jews who defeated them in skirmishes in various towns and villages.
They started all the aggression and the Jews answered tenfold. Deal with it.
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 The UN is far from perfect and I can name several examples of how they were silent on issues when Israel was attacked or wronged and yet when Israel does anything it is trumped up and they are condemned.
Israel has diplomatic relations with 157 countries - virtually all of whom recognise its legitimacy and claims to the land.
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
@JerrySPsy
You dont even know what your arguing about.
chrisdef15 1 year ago
@chrisdef15 You mention the West Bank - Palestinians claim it should be theirs when it belonged to Jordan before the 1967 war. And Gaza - another area the Palestinians claim - belonged to Egypt. You really need to do some reading and studying and stop getting your education from Jewish hate sites on the internet.
JerrySPsy 1 year ago
When seven Arab armies attacked the State of Israel following the resolution, the UN did nothing to interfere in what looked to be the imminent destruction of the re-born Jewish state. When the battle turned and Israel began beating back the invading armies the UN dispatched Swedish Count Folke Bernadotte as their mediator in the conflict. Bernadotte did everything in his power to limit the success of Israels military until he was gunned down. The UN has always been unfairly against Israel.

Arabs broke 1st UN Resolutn ever
One day after the Israel declared itself as an independent nation (May 14, 1948), Lebanese, Syrian, Iraqi, Egyptian, and Transjordanian troops, supported by Saudi and Yemenite troops, attacked the nascent Jewish state, triggering the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. That day Azzam Pasha (Secretary-General of the Arab League) announced:

This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades".

The United Nations doesn't work, not because it's innately useless, in fact it's an INCREDIBLY powerful organisation for peace, but ALL nations abuse the UN for their own biased agenda.
Sixu83 3 years ago
The first order of business by the UN was valid, and the 5 Arab armies that tried to massacre Israel forever de-legitimized the UN afterward. They completely disregarded the first action of the UN. How do you expect Israel to abide when UN couldnt save Israel from a massacre? Also Arabs dominate the UN, the UN votes democratically so many UN sanctions against Israel. Funny thing is, all these Arab nations that dominate the UN democracy, are undemocratic fascist theocratic countries.
NeoKonSClOUS 3 years ago
If 5 arab armies didn't attack simultaneously, and violate original UN Resol, there would have been a Palestine in 1948, a very large Palestine, & indefensible borders for Israel
The UN Partition Plan for Palestine or UN General Assembly Resolutio 181 was a plan approved by the G Assembly on Nov29, 1947 to terminate the British Mandate of Palestine by Aug 1, 1948, and facilitate the creation of 2 states, one Jewish and one Arab. The plan was approved by a vote of 33 to 13, with 10 abstentions

trufreedom87 3 years ago
So you have a problem with people who hold dual citizenship. These people live in the US, so what?
AIPAC takes care of their own interests and numerous times are separate from Israel's interests. Plenty of more powerful lobbyist groups: Tyco, Aramco, Farmers Union, etc.
USS Liberty is a gray area since it was spying on Israel and feeding intel of IDF troop movements to the Egyptians in 1967 to the Brit intel center in Cyprus. Why else would the NSA have a transmitting station in Cairo?
bigjelmapro 3 years ago
You are absolutely wrong about the USS Liberty!Israel attacked it and our own president covered it up not to put blame on Israel, because if it was spying then why wouldn't we claim that it was shot at!Secondly dual citizens of Israel are more loyal to Israel than to America! Also you are wrong about AIPAC and they are the most pwerful lobby in fact they are going to court about spying on the US,but the zionist owned media is keeping that out of the news!Get your facts straight and knowledge up!!
trufreedom87 3 years ago

Strange how the USS Liberty was the only ship under NSA control. Still haven't stated anything of why the NSA would have an intelligence center in Cairo and why the USS Liberty put itself in harm's way when it was advised not to.
AIPAC's power is overrated.

trufreedom87 3 years ago
You guys sprout up in youtube with utter misunderstandings of how the Private military industry works. There is no 'giving' of anything. This money is injected into US industry and employs US citizens.
By the way, 2006-2007 Israel exported more Israeli weapons tech to the US (~2.5-3 billion) compared to US's 2.1 billion.
Pakistan received 5.1 billion over 2006 and 2007 and that's money down the drain.
So bicker away. UN violations? You mean resolutions created by the Arab bloc.
Try again.

Palestinians receive the most aid per capita than anybody in the world, and don't deserve it. You've never been to the territories
Not crying anti-semite. And I'm sephardic.
Israel, like India, is not part of the NPT, hence not violating any 'UN law'. There is no such thing as a 'UN law'. Idiot.
bigjelmapro 3 years ago
Israel is not allowed to posess nuclear weapons because they did not sign the treaty!Iran is allowed and yet look,I know my country starts wars because Israel and dual citizens of Israel have infiltrated our government and zionism is a racist disgusting religion!Plus with all the money the US gives Israel it averages out to 23,ooo per Israeli of American taxpayer money!
trufreedom87 3 years ago
Wow, for your age, you really know very very little on how the world works. Look up NPT and what it refers to. States nothing to if one's not a signatory that one isn't allowed to possess nuclear weapons. Eg Pakistan, India.
Zionism isn't a religion, its an ideology of the return of Jews to their place of origin. Islamists did far worse by expelling and murdering the kaffirs on the Arabian peninsula. Israel is attempting to live in peace with its neighbors, but to no avail
There is no 'giving'

So quaint, so juvenile, so young.
Religion allows leaders to have great power and a complicit population, it's but a tool, not the root cause
betterth 4 years ago 3
sure, but one cancer believes it is the chosen cancer and all other cancers are just second second class diseases. that is the real problem.

It is ignorance, and the blind faith that religions demand that benefit the elite and cause wars that destroy the lower classes. I don't claim to know all the answers, but after checking out all religions, including the one I was raised in for fifty-eight years, Christianity; in my opinion, they are a load of archaic, propaganda crap from the dark ages.
wiskawind 4 years ago 2
and who might you be? is your name God? how do you know its jews muslims and christians? why generalise for? its a little more than just saying its all three of those. besides, you're forgetting the other new main religion of this planet, CAPITALISM.

The UN is worthless. So is the Bush Administration.

and they NEED to be replaced ASAP.
piaNOwarist 4 years ago

Being anti-Israel is taboo, and offices such as AIPAC will make sure you won't get elected.
blored 4 years ago 4
I know it's taboo, and that's what confuses me. I dont buy into Jewish/Israeli conspiracy theories about the uber-lobby maintained to keep our connections with Israel.
It seems...well, deeper than that. Like support of Israel is some sort of "default" that we resign ourselves to. And that the onus is on reasoning for change, not for maintaining the status quo.
It this "default" that confuses me.

the UN is stacked against Israel because of the 22 Islamic States that own the oil these countries want. There are 22 plus Islamic States...and one Jewish one. How can you people be so blind. We need a Jewish state because of your not understanding the reason for WW2 and how many of your countries, closed their eyes.

How can you be so blind as to the people that have been living there for centuries?
Forced out because of an under the table WW2 deal they had no control over?

Let's see....Saddam ignores UN resolutions and the US bombs and occupies Iraq, but Israel ignores UN resolutions and the US doesn't care. Stupid fukin politicians, wish they would all go back to being venture capitalists in the midwest.

If the UN was hit instead of the towers, we would live in a safer world. That would have united the world against violence.
pfchomer420 4 years ago
agreed, but there is a reason the world bank and the pentagon are the target of hatred. to address these reasons is the only way to prevent terrorism.

wow dont offend the open ended resolution pushers. osama should have passed up the towers and flew aplane into the UN, but alas he would have lost his greatest supporters

his greatest supporters have always been the US, first directly in afghanistan, now by proving osama bin laden's rational basis for hatred towards the US.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
there was no rational basis for the attack on the twin towers. If you remember correctly Afghanistan was invaded after september 11th to find bin laden. Your juxtaposing your argument mate.
