I bought the record with this song at 18 in DeKalb Illinois. I have such good memories of this music, like listening to it on my cassette walkman in my first art class (of course, I made a tape of the album), on the tape player in my various cars I went through in my youth driving long distances to see friends, and listening to it lying on my back on the hardwood floor of my cheap rogers park apartment. Thank you Feelies! I just wish I had been paying more attention in June when you toured.
Actually saw them open for Lou Reed on his NY tour (88-89ish?). Match made in heaven...of course, lou and VU were the godfathers and mothers to a lotta groups from that period...
GREAT! Do you have anything from Hoboken's other great sons the Bongos? The Feelies' first and Drums along the Hudson by the Bongos are two of the greatest NY albums ever - if not counting the Velvets...
The feelies make it look effortless - to create melody - timing & soundscapes like these is the product of rare minds. Thanks

A beautiful, athmospheric video for a great song. What year was this recorded live (and where)? Is there more?
