Another thing to add, Never buy unlimited hosting cause unlimited do not exist. Search google and you will know. I used to host with bluehost but now migrated to hostcell dot net.

GDI (Global Domains International) offers free domain names (as long as you're using their service) but that is because they own the ".ws" extension ... If you end your use of their service, no big just go get yourself a domain name with another extension of your choice (if available), after all it WAS free, so why would anyone expect anything different? It's NOT deceiving, it's just one of the terms of use.

It is okay to register a domain with your host just not a FREE domain. As long as you make sure you're listed as the registrant then you're fine. Also, make sure to have you're EPP key sent to you even if you're not planning on transferring the domain. This way you have it if you need it.

There were some initial issues but they worked to clear it up and I only lost a week. I'm still working on my site and getting it smooth and have much to learn. But your videos help.

My site is tryitmarketing. Webair is the host and I got the domain name with them too. But I'm happy and it's FAST.

I think it's sad that any webhost that has to resort to fineprint shenanigans... I get tired of it myself, and I've learned to not buy into most of the hype (though I do host with one of the big name offenders in many peoples eyes). If you want quality, realistic hosting, you should probably be prepared to pay a little bit more than the Dreamhosts and Lunarpages of the world.
