this is the best new dalek music video so far. its so well timed. it's just odd that the BBC couldnt notice that the new daleks looked so silly. Although i like teletubby dalek edits, i prefer the power ranger edits because they fit better.

Funniest part is how the white ranger is called the "Supreme Dalek". This accidental near-racism is exactly the same as what they did with MMPR when they cast a black dude as the black ranger and a chinese girl as the yellow ranger.

Me, I'd have gone with "Go Go Dalek Rangers"... or maybe "Mighty Morphin' Dalek Rangers" but those are mere nitpicks and this is just one dalek martial arts scene away from being perfect... also, Dalek zords and hell, the Cybermen got a giant mecha, why not the daleks, eh?

I'm talking about actual Dalek-style killings. Usually there are like 6 or more which made this episode a bit disapointing in my mind. The story was good though.

RTD spoiled the fans rotten on the show being more "grounded" in reality. Moffat wants the show to be more over-the-top and fantasy-like, so obviously the thickos that want a realist view of science-fiction can't stand that.

@HeyArnoldsspleen I don't have an issue with fantasy, hell, I love fantasy fiction way more than I do SyFy (Buffy being my favourite show ever), BUT there's no way I can overlook what a shitty episode that Dalek one was. Maybe I'd be more forgiving on the new Dalek design if the episode hadn't sucked so bad.

@SkullXII : Yeah, I can understand it if you didnt like the episode, it IS a toy commercial, very blatant one at that, but I thought it more a "parody" of a toy commercial. I had another episode in my head where the WWII Daleks were in the spitfires and the story ended with The Doctor realizing that maybe the time has come to see Daleks as beneficial, not an enemy, thus the RTD designs would be "good guys" and the Cushing era Daleks would be the villainous kind.

Alas, that never came to be.
