i dig reb, but this is striaght out of Ed's 30 year old stock touring solo. i don't mind, and i like his playing, but from the very first time i ever heard him play i thought he had a lot of eddie influence. everyone did then, and most still do. New VH album in 2011!!!

@TheJustme222 Check out his solos on Fiona Beyond the Pale.. one of the first sessions he did i think...his style hasnt changed that much. Everyone is infuenced by someone.. in some way and I would think the Eddie VH is one of many ~

In an interview, Reb said that he never learned to alternate pick very well and tapping was more comfortable. Talk about a blessing in disguise.
