Thats cool. Yeah, I don't know what the markings on the ones I'm getting are called, but They're pretty. Its a rescue, so I know for sure I'm getting certain rats. And they're brothers, so its a great fit already!
Yeah, my rat can "fly" as well. Once, I was doing some work on the floor near my bed (and my rat was hanging out on the bed). Out of nowhere, I got whomped upside the head by a fuzzy torpedo that decided to sink his little claws into my scalp so as stick his landing. :) Needless to say, I was not exactly expecting this to occur.
When I was around 6ish, We had rats. They were lovely, I can't believe the things people say about them!

We got 2 new ones the weekend before last. One's another fancy rat with interesting colors. The other's a red eyed Siamese (sp?).

I also had pet rats. They are VERY sweet and smart. Most people do not realize how clean they really are.
