That looks like a compressor stall and fuel leak IE: minor but requiring an inspection before running again. When a turbine "blows up" (as in the title) it does NOT look like a reciprocating (piston) engine going. When a turbine goes, you think the world is coming to and end. Remember these are old military engines, they don't have the same safety requirements of detached blade containment as passenger jet engines. If it had 'blown' people would have died.
