After watching this movie, I loved it so much that I was inspired to write a book. It's called From the Start, and it's basically the same exact point of this almost. A girl falls in love with a boy and finds out he has leukemia. It's a really amazing love story and if you liked My sister's Keeper the movie or book, then you'll love this too<3

I found him more likable in the movie, myself. In the book, his lack of assertiveness and tendency toward escapism could be incredibly frustrating - although those traits were characteristic of the entire family at various points.

@AllwaysAttract it's definitely worth buying the book. the characters are more om epth and you get too meet two new characters, Julia, who is campbell's love, and her sister ozzy. the book is much better than the movie
