That's hilarious - all of the problems you state that are reasons to avoid tax increases are because of Republican policies. What, are you advocating third-party rule then?
Do you know why they have the lowest approval ratings in history? Because most Americans think they haven't done enough to stop the corruption and war-mongering of the Bush administration. And as bad as Democrats' approval ratings are, the Republicans' are even worse.
