@DOWrocksify, Um, no. The original Sith were an ancient race that existed millenia before the existence of the Republic and the Jedi Order. The new Sith are just fallen Jedi who came across the old Sith teachings on their abandoned homeworld, Korriban.

In comparison, the modern Sith are pussies compared to the Sith Lords of Old. But, supposedly these true Sith still exist and their Empire is hidden far beyond the Outer Rim. This is all explained in the Kotor series. And it is pretty much the premise of Old Republic, that the true Sith have returned to Republic space.

Why is it people keep showing this image of Bane with that crap on his head. Bane is bald and only wore a protective mask at night when he slept to prevent the orbalisk from covering his face. He was bald and never had any growth on his face or head. Also Banes saber has a hook handle similar to Count Dooku's so why does everys image of bane show him with a straight handled saber?

@IDHuman31051984 Under strict Sith classification, Bane is a better Sith, however, Revan was by FAR more powerful in the Force.  Revan never truly fell. He sacrificed himself to save and prepare the Republic. What makes Revan stronger is that he has experienced and mastered both sides of the Force, so not only is he more powerful than Bane, but he is much wiser.

And doesn't fit into the real Star Wars story, even though he was at Jabba's Palace in The Return of the Jedi. And Darth Bane was a human, so was his lover.But he killed her and the rest of the brotherhood with the Thought Bomb.
