@awellman4056 - It's a check engine light, it's called VTEC, and the D16Y8 is a SOCH VTEC motor. VTEC does engage, as you can see the engagement light I wired light up around 5.4k RPM.

Superchargers are better than turbos but u need a good engine to back it up so in this case you would of been better of with a turbo

@xVxRayJohnathaNxVx could be a number of things, mine light stays on just due to the simple fact i took my catalytic converter for a full exaust system.

my check engine light is on in mine too ! i dont think there is anything wrong with it . a lot of older cars , after 100,000 miles the light will come on and wont turn off.

And it does light up when i start the car so the light is not burnt out.

About 40-45hp. Low boost, easy maintenance. Great kit for the D16Y8 at only $2000.
