  • "The Lips are Last" would be a perfect title for most anything, from a musical piece to a novel.

    I found this video helpful, and I'm glad you included examples of a multiphonic. Without it, I wouldn't have known what one sounded like.

    Also, to what extent do I need an open holed flute to do these extended techniques? I have a yamahah 311 and I really cannot afford a new flute...

  • You can do a lot with a closed hole flute. But do save up for an open hole model! $1,000 gets a LOT of flute these days. Try an Eastman flute.
