I was there with my son and daughter, only just turned up at Sainsburys, never realised first Peak Rail service from Matlock station was on the 2nd July (that very day). Just by luck we were standing at the Sainsburys side to see the first train leave. I can see myself and kids in this vid, fantastic Peak Rail, well done. And thanks japeflakes for posting this vid.

Next time Barry Wood Contractors build platform edging they should stay out of Wetherspoons.
The standard is appalling compared with Platform 1. Working against the clock is no excuse.

Glad you spotted yourself. It was busy. Usually just the odd person on the platform :-)
Perhaps this has made the shopping experience even better... Take a trip on Peak Rail.... think you might enjoy it.
