I like to look at the word 'compassion' from the Greek derfinition: understanding without judgement. Regardless, it gives me a sense of Peace to think that way.
@bongrippar Would this be the Obnoxious Dictionary for Ignorant Fools? I'm guessing you define courage as hating on people who are trying to make a difference in this world. After all, the Buddhist say we all have a Buddha Nature, even if it's covered under a veil of ignorance, or in your case, a pile. Contrary to what you believe, it takes real strength to be compassionate. Cynicism and apathy are easy. Strength isn't just physical.
