if your worried about slippage put tape around the tip of the flat head wear its sharpest. All you need is something thin and flat enough to get in there that can be twist without bending. In cell phone tech we use soft pries but they are to flimsy, i should make a tool thats too soft to scratch the board but hard enough to twist, I'd make millions.

tgreen thanks for this man, def. the easiest and safest way to remove them. I fix these locally and mod for a nice little side job. I've been using snub nose plyers. If you use a small enough flat head it almost locks in and prevents slippage as to not cut a line through the board or through a vein on the board.
