  • 0:37 sick

  • One thing I want to know... how many preset tones are there to choose from? The computer box leads me to think there arent that many to choose from

  • Double bass?

  • I have one. Really nice and practical e-drumset it just needs some grease for the pedal sensors and they sound really nice and much more responsive than dry.

  • OMG I WANT ONE! :)

  • Hey man this kit is really sweet i just got one question though can the hi foot pedal be substituded for a second bass drum pedal to play double bass as in is there any settings for it??

    Thanks man keep drumming ;)

  • @PercussiveSpeech Yeah, the main setting and a few others offer hi hat foot pedal

  • impro?

  • how much was it?

  • where is the laptop for?

  • hd-1 sucks hardcore

  • Just Got Wicked?

  • choke?

  • is buying the pm-01 worth it for my hd 1?

at the moment i have it on a bass amp

  • "and recorded video by a homo red head boy holding a cheapo digital camera."

    haha!

you got the drum tutor software?

  • I'm gonna buy this thing!

  • Hi, whats the size of the box where it comes in ? is it too big to carry as luggage in a flight ?

  • Hi, whats the size of the box where it comes in ? is it too big to carry as luggage in a flight ?

    thanks

  • are they quiet? you know the pads ?

  • FackingNicee!

    I see there a Djembé! :D

  • that sucks u cant get more toms or add ons

  • Is it possible to connect extra toms or cymbals?

  • @DaanOnderwater nope

  • @dylan3246 yea u can but u need a new console

  • @dylan3246 You can add other cymbals and toms but it's complicated

  • @DaanOnderwater it is who's the noob told u nope?

  • @DaanOnderwater you can if you upgrade to a better module

  • @DaanOnderwater

great to hear from ya cya

    keep rocking :)

  • Dylans A Famous One! :)

  • Is there a way to customice the HD1? ^^

  • the joys of windows movie maker :P okish drumming though :)

  • screwed up the intervals abit.. other than that pretty good job goin..

woulda been better off with a DTXpress IV tho...

  • addictive drums?

  • where the normal old scholl late 80s "electronic" drum set sound???

  • LOL @ 0:56 the drumset is dying by hyperact

  • I would also like to buy the HD1

    And I have one question

in day,how long they can play??

    snx ;)

  • Huh? I dont understand the question

  • In Day. How many hours they can play?

    I hope it s correct: D

  • LMAO THAT MADE ME LOL

  • maybe he means how long they last before they get broke..

but, i want to buy it too^^. are you happy with it? :)

  • i think he mean:how long time can you play the drums before the drums will be broken

  • @henis2222 forever and ever and ever and ever :O

but dont get the HD1, save up an extra few hundred and get the TD-4 the difference is amazing, you get so many more kits, completely customizable, loads of crap.

  • @henis2222 they last pretty long. I'd say at least 4 years unless some electronics melt or get damaged :) i hope this is what you meant

  • @crashtestdummie183 get the td-4 if u thinkin bout v drums or the td-9

  • "recorded video by a homo red head boy holding a cheapo digital camera." Snot came shooting out of my nose as i started laughing lol

  • What is the cable necessary to connect to the pc? Any special program to pass the drum to pc? Please answer.... : )

  • @CJLPGL hey man just go out of the headphone jack with a 1/8" stereo cable (like the end of a heaphone cable) straight into the audio card in your computer and after that youll need some software for your computer. Just google audacity and download and install that and just press the red circle button and your recording

  • thanks man ;)

  • when u say audio card, u mean like the headphone slot in ur computer? also, how do u record with your camera? like if the audio is comin out of ur computer, how do u record and get audio at the same time?

  • @CJLPGL

I recomend you to use mixcraft as software, after you plugged in the cable in your computer, you can import as MIDI file, add extra effects and it has a good recording quality!

  • oh yes this is what u call music well metallica yo i love roland hd1 i got it

  • How does it sound with headphones on?

  • you can buy an amplifier for it for about 80 pound i think

  • real sound!

but where is his cowbell on tom 2??

  • Dissapeared

  • That was awesome! Is that the real drum sounds or was it enhanced after recording?

  • @McKinoza No post production done

  • Thought the set was gonna break at 0:57

    Roland kicks ass!

  • nice drumming roland makes a great product

  • dude this drum set is awesome but i my dad wont let me buy it cause its too expensive i just go to melody music and try it for like a half hour lol every day i can.

  • haha :P im prolly gonna get one for christmas though that's exactly what i would do :P like "well.. im not sure if im gonna buy it yet, let me just try it a little bit first.." xD

  • god damn, this roland hd 1 is so awsome, i bought it yesterday!

  • @mojamalanemamane1 got mine today i love it woo hoo

  • are those pedals lighter to use than in real drum sets?

  • I am thinking of buying this drum kit. I don't know much about drumming, but I would like to play for fun, it must be great! What do you recomend? Should I spend money on this if I set only once in my life at a drum kit and if I just want to play as a hobby from time to time to release the pressure? :)

  • Yeh man go ahead and buy this kit, Its a load of fun not so good for more serious stuff but who cares if its just to have a bash on

  • can u plug them into a amp

  • damm ur good

  • lol oh well too late ive gone and ordered one

  • hows the bass pedal feel on that? pretty close to a real acoustic pedal?

    nice drumming btw

  • ahhh, to be quite honest it doesn't feel the same altough it is similar...... if that makes sense

  • press 2 and variation to change the hi hat into another bass pedal

  • great playing.

  • I guess you could.. but you dont really need to because theres already a setting that has the hi-hat pedal as the double bass

  • good, really good ...

  • Can you map samples from drum software such as Battery 3, ezDrummer, or Addictive drums to the pads on this kit?

  • Sorry man but I haven't actually had any experience with using the HD-1 with that kind of stuff but the HD-1 does a midi output so i would assume that you would be able to.

  • dude i tried it and it it works awesome

just connected from the midi output to an audio interface then used ezdrummer in logic and it works flawlessly

  • your amazing keep it man you pry got a carer coming ahead if u no to read music!!then that is a great start!!! keep up man!!!!!!!

  • how much money is this

  • like 700 or something like that

  • HAHAH! the ending was awesome. "Aaaaand now i´m done. NOT!"

  • Sounds pretty good

  • i am thinking of buying a roland hd-1. does the whole set hold up nicely

  • do you mean durability?

  • yes and also does the set shake alot when you play

  • it does a little but its definitely bearable yeh i think it holds up pretty nicely too, can take a bit of a bash.

  • which program do you use to record your sounds?

  • really nice keep watching this - since i`ve got that drum kit for 3 weeks and im an absulute beginner.

I like that part on 1:05 when beats getting "normal" again :)

.. hope i can reply in a few weeks with this impro by myself ;)

  • i'm thinking about buying this kit.

Any complaints besides it being for beginners?

  • uhm not really if you can afford it get the best that you can otherwise you'll have to upgrade later when you get better

  • not bad man very good job

  • amazing bass sound!!

  • una pregunta. Es mas cara una bateria electronica o una bateria real ?¿?¿

  • a bateria real e mais cara

  • NICE IMPROVISATION!

    VERY GOOD!

  • good drummer, but i dont like the kit its too small I fell... (different oppinions) i really like the Roland td-20

  • yeh man but at a hugely higher price but at the end of the day its still an electric drum kit (acoustic ftw!)

  • any one know if it is possible to replace the springs in the pedals for more kickback?? :) ... tjek out TD4/K before buying the hd1 just to see if it is worth the xtra cash

  • What did you use to record the drums?

I know theres a cable you need to buy, but what software do you use?

  • hey man just go out of the headphone jack with a 1/8" stereo cable (like the end of a heaphone cable) straight into the audio card in your computer and after that youll need some software for your computer. Just google audacity and download and install that and just press the red circle button and your recording

  • N-Track 6 will work too

  • all audio editing/recording programs will work

  • I can be configured for left handed,

Like you see in this video:

Roland HD1 Drum Korn Falling away from me

  • must suck to have that kinda of kick pedal

  • the kick pedal is the worst ive ever played.

If you are looking for a good set of drums. Don't get this model.

If you are looking for cheap, compact and half decent. then yes.

  • yeah this kit is pretty much for starters / compact space / "drum kit for non-drummers". that being said i still think it's pretty sick!

  • I agree now for me the hd-1is just too limited.. wish i went bigger but oh well...

  • I actually just bought one and the floor kick-pedal is driving me nuts. It's counter-intuitive too because the kick pedal is meant to be positioned in the center of the whole drumkit.

Plus since they're both slightly raised off the floor, I can't seem to push them hard enough playing heel-kick style.

  • yeah i was considering that since i mightve bought one...might just go for the td 3 instead

  • hey how did u connect it to the comp i have hd-1 have no clue how to connect it and record sound

  • can you open the hi-hat? and.. do u know if you can configure for a left-handed?

  • theres 2 pedals, hihat and bass drum, but both can be double pedal if you want. dunno about the left handed configuration, i dont have this set i have a different one.

  • You sure beat the hell out of this thing.

  • cher bro

  • Oh my gOd...U're a "noOb" prOfessiOnal...^^

    hehehehehehe...NuuzZ...;/

  • lol not sure if that was a compliment or an insult lol but thanks anyway!

  • i dunno what the fuck shurumbro said either = /

  • I think he means ur a "professional in training" lol

  • looks quality,

i am a complete beginner at drums and want an electric kit but dont know whether to get a roland hd1 or a roland td3,

    any advice?

  • if u can , get a roland td12 or td 6 . depends how much ya wanna spend ! go for the td 12 . awesome .

  • how much is that.

  • depends where ya from

  • wat do u mean by that?

  • its 'bout 800 euros...or bout $1700 but it depends where ya from

  • oh, and btw, do u need any special knd of cable to record on the laptop, or anykind of software.

  • cool, im buying this set because i wanted somthing easy and portable to bring to my friends so we can practice for our band, because a 6 piece set is kinda hard to transport.

I would never use an electric drum for live. Mabey for recording but never live.

  • oh ok sweet yeh I mainly use it for practice and because its small i can take the legs off and take it to music practice

  • Can I also make my own sounds/kits with these drums?

  • Unfortunately not, You are limited to the preset kits already configured and you cant edit them or tweak the sounds.

  • I love your stye and this drumming is immence tyvm =]

  • thanks bro, appreciate it

  • Hey Dylan.

I would like an honest opinion from you, since I'm planning on buying them.

How do you like playing on them? I mean, is it comfortable and uh... stimulating?

  • Oh and Dylan.

One more thing that's really important.

Can you connect it to a PC?

  • The hd-1 is good for giving a quick bash and playing along with songs and learning them etc. but anything more than that its pretty useless. (eg. definitely not for recording or live performance) Well you can connect it to your pc but only for audio (with a normal 3.5mm to 3.5mm cord). And also I think you can connect it via midi if you had an audio interface or a midi to usb connector but I haven't really tried it so I dont really know how it works. Hope this helped

  • I see.

    Thanks Dylan!

  • hey mate nice drumming so why electronic drums than proper ones are they better?

  • well electronic are good for a bash (because you can play it anytime without bothering the neighbors or family) but the truth is that an electric will never sound as good or feel as good as an acoustic.

  • Nice. Just wondering...do you get a speaker with the set or do you need to use headphones or buy external speakers?

  • No they dont you need to use headphones or buy external speakers. There is the matching roland speaker you can get but its really tiny and has no bass ( I have it ) better going and getting some computer speakers with a sub

  • is it possible 2 get it in a larger size?

  • No, you can only get the next model up if you want something bigger.

  • Can you tell me if it's possible to change the pedals for a left-handed drum set? Nice video!

  • sure is just switch the kick and hihat pedal around as well as the snare and toms cymbals etc. but it is possible

  • hm, im thinking of buying a digital drumset but im kinda stuck in whether im gonna buy a yamaha dtxplorer or a hd-1.. anyone got any tips? since im a complete newbie with drums these two seem to be the right choice since other lowprice/beginner drums seem to have gotten kinda bad critisism compared to these two.. some tips would be apprieciated, thanks:)

  • Well, if you're a newbie with drums, you might actually want to try an accoustic drumset, because electronic kits sometimes aid you in developing bad habits by fixing some of the mistakes you make. But if you can't get an a-kit for reasons of your own, you might want to try the hd-1. I haven't heard a lot of good with the dtxplorer, but then again, there are two sides to every story. Just do some research on reviews.

  • q cara d cú arrombadooO!!!

    viadoo!O!

  • I wish the f-ing kick pedal had a stronger spring. That's the only thing I don't like about the HD-1.

  • i no!! Tho i broke my right pedal a bit, its not very sensitive at all now :(

  • What's wrong with the pedal ?

  • Damn you're good.

  • Can you use the left pedal as double bass???

  • yes.

  • i think its kit 3 alternative

  • kit 2 alternative :p

  • yes ofc

  • yes

  • we have the same djembè :) nice drum set i'll get one

  • that was awesome! i want one too!

  • can you turn the snare sound off?

  • wow that was good but if you try that on a real 5 piace drum set it would not sound good But with that That was awsome

  • nice man will be a td3 a good choice??

  • yes good for practice td3s are alot better than the hd-1s

  • what if i have the double pedal bass, will my double pedal useful for this HD-1? or this kit doesn't have any actual bass pedal receiver.. if it's so, if i wear a double pedal mode, how can i close my hi-hat..

coz i like the sound of this kit instead the dtxplorer.. but i dont know this pedal system works..

  • the hi hat wont close this is only double bass setting there is

  • You can't use your old double bass pedal with this drumkit. There is no bass drum pad. The built-in bass pedal and the trigger are integrated in the same case. You can play doublebass in one setting, employing both the single bass pedal and the hihat pedal. If so, the hihat is open and cannot be closed! It's great fun anyways.

  • if you want to use your double bass pedal go for the roland td-3

the td-3 has alot more functions as well as sounds

  • you can't

  • Can I hook it up to my guitar amp instead of getting another one?

  • you could but the sound quality isnt going to be great. Alls I did was picked up a set of logitech computer speakers for thirty bucks with a sub and sounds way better then a guitar amp

  • the bass drumpedal sucks the big one man! if they would get a different pedal or even a hookup for an external pad that would be cool. waste of money if you ask me.

  • awesome but i dont like the sound of the snare
