We love to see any mahamudra teachings on youtube and are very happy that these are shared so lovingly. We do see and appreciate that he is very brave, and working very hard to teach something that he knows is most marvelous!

We don't doubt that he is going through the process, but we think here he is just beginning to understand primordial purity, and should develop more reverence for the female buddhas and female gatekeepers to develop his buddha speech. It is dangerous to carry greed far on the path because greed can very quickly send you to the hells. Letting go is a very important step in the process.

Strange, but after Great Bliss arose, the marks manifested, and we went through the endurance, compassion and lovingkindness replaced greed and vanity, and we certainly can't say that our greed is limitless or that others' greed is limitless. This is supposed to be advanced meditation practice, a central channel meditation, and one of the three moral teachings, not sure what happened there or why greed is an issue even at the beginning stage being discussed.

'Desire' exists as a multiform. As with everything in existence (and out of it) the object called desire can be beneficial or harmful based on the time, place, and extent of application.

As to which desires harm and which desires benefit, this is largely a point of view of minds at different stages of development.

As with most videos on googles conditioningtube...tertiary and misleading. Mahamudra as tantra is a 'fast' method of enlightenment, however this teaching is not it. I wonder why?

Many of this priests words at times merely misleading, and at times are outright misrepresentations of very basic tibetan buddhist tenet.

The other side of the blade called greed (desire) is 'can'...having the basic ability to effect an action.

As a buddha would remind you...go...go further...go further still.

All this talk about position and power is exactly what mahamudra is trying to help you see through. If a man is wise and you can learn from him, be quiet and Listen'' If he has nothing for you to learn politely be on your way but don't ruin it for those who are not yet at the same point of understanding. It is no secret in Tai Situ`s Mahamudra teaching for only his students on this videoes because everybody can have this videoes here. It important to know that A tibetan Lama will always help everybody to break down their ego so they can reach enlightenment. It is not much secret in buddhism at all, but sometimes some westerners that have a big ego and that have learned some tantras like to think that they learn something that few people learn and their ego blow up when others want to learn it.

Mahamudra is a hard meditation. It is great stuff it will really break down the Ego. Peace and one heart to all...

@groverdug He's Tai Situpa: if this were RCatholocism ...He's not "the Pope" but he's one of the super high level cardinals...the kind of guy who gets to be on the committee to pick the Pope.  He's like at that type of level. [OK, that sounded Valley Girl...I think its because I was already like this as a teen.]
