  • tnijurl{dot}com/unlockphone - unlock codes for any cellphone, low cost, no technical knowledge is required

  • you are an incredibly stupid retarded fuck face p.s your app truphone is as useful as my shit bh and why are uyou making awful videos and taking up broadband use you fucking cock

  • duude calm down!

  • can you have facebook and msn on it? and on N73?

  • sucking dick xDDDD

  • why is he making this funny sound, is he sucking dick or sth??

  • I wish i could understand what your saying in most of the video, you didnt watch the video after you edited it did you?!... well, anyway, if you change your prodoct code wit NSS and than use the nokia update service you'll get a orange locked debranded phone... wish in my opinion is twice faster and it as no bugs... but keep in mind, the version 31 is unhackable...

  • Why don't you just change the product code and flash it to a Nokia original firmware using NSU?

Then, you can purchase the phone at a cheap price AND have all the funtions

  • can you explain a little more about that? did you mean nokia pc suite?

  • TELE-PHONE-ARY

  • Hör auf zu schmatzen man!gott regt mich das auf.

  • :-D:-D Anscheinend isst er grad was

  • ive just got a n95 for christmas on the network 3 how do you change the left and right buttons to what you want like go from launcher to contacts, and how do you put the wirless lan information on teh main screen if you can help that would be great

  • well you can unlock your phone and install an origina symbian but...

  • Strange. My N95 is from Orange (Israel) and Internet Telephony works fine.

  • I also have an Israeli Orange phone and this stuff is all there, weird.

  • I know, time at clock diefrend... LoL

  • Well my Telstra branded N95-3 NAM still has the VOIP options in there and they work like a charm.

Good thing Telstra doesn't cripple their phones, even their branded ones, like my old 6120 Classic, and my N95.

  • fuk telstra,,,,,,

  • I'm not a Telstra fan myself, they're greedy bastards run by a yank and have Indian tech support, only reasons I'm on Telstra is

    A) Most of my family and friends are with Telstra

    B) Good coverage.

Besides, my other phone is on Optus.

  • lol mine is optus too,,,N80 and home phone and internet is in a package wid optuss,,,

i didnt think id be happy wid opt' but its been good,,,adsl2,,.

we were cut off from telstra for not paying 12 bucks fkn loons,,lol

  • if you alraedy know that its not enabled,Y would you try

  • Y would want to make internet calls in the first place. obviously youve never heard of a webcam

  • and its unlocked

  • haha i got it on 3

  • what does internet tele thing do?

  • yes finally some english dude rather than all them russian type peeps that do the phone vids!!! WOOT! I CAN NOW UNDERSTAND!

  • Were you eating when this was recorded because that noise was incredibly annoying. If i'm honest it sounds like a cool phone which i was pretty into buying, but all this jargon sounds too complicated for me...

  • i have a orange k800i loads of things were missing plus i couldn't update so it was buggy so i debranded it and its so much better

  • i am with vodafone btw

  • i have a n95 since June,i am impressed until now,a month ago i had it sent away to get fixed because the wifi didn't work it, flashes as i click on the web icon.A couple of days ago it now keeps coming up with a "No gateway reply",i went today to get it fixed in the vodafone shop and vodafone say they follow policies so if the wifi is broken again then eventually i will get a new phone, they couldn't give me a courtesy phone!i am going to wait until my contract runs out and get the iphone.

  • Damn, what a whiner. Just use NSS to change the product ID of your phone to a generic N95 and then use NSU to install a generic firmware on it and quit complaining about Orange modifying the phone to protect their revenue! (SP locks anyone?)

"Buy from expansys" -> yaright, for more than what my laptop cost? Balls to that. Buy a subsidised one from Orange, and flash it to generic yourself.. The PAYG helpdesk will even unlock it for you for 20 quid.

And stop sucking sweets when you talk.

  • he personally doesnt gain anything from expansys so he's only trying to be helpful

none the less, i bought a subsidised handset and just flashed it

  • I have a SEasian N95 and it took me around 30 minutes to upgrade it to a original Scandinavian/Nordic version. It was very easy. Did a new firmwareupdate 2 weeks ago and that where even faster. On my unlocked IPhone I`m going to upgrade firmware after new year and it takes around 3hrs :(

  • he are you fool to compare these phones. i think you dont like n95, then you can give it to me.

  • What the fuck is that noise you're making when you talk? Are you chewing or something? Aaarrrrgggghhhhh

  • just install the nokia firmware...

  • ITS A SPAM PLS IGNORE

  • Please, dont eat while you are speaking on camera, this is awful

  • you need to install the original nokia firmware, you can do that with nokia software updater. orange modified the original firmware thats why you don't have internet telephony.

  • Im very sorry :P but the sounds you make when ur talkin is very very anoying

  • Holy ****, now that is useful info thanks for sharing.

  • i hate the way u talk its so anoying

  • briliant video,thanks

  • Thank YOU!!!

  • Now this, is the most useful video on youtube, THANKYOU!

  • saw this video and unlocked mine using the guide that comes up first when you type "debrand N95" into google. clear-nokia.blogspot blah blah....

    worked a treat for me.

    thanks truphone!

  • hi i just watched yor video about the n95 the simlock status of the phone has noting to do with the fact that you cannot access certain features its to do with the flash files installed on the phone way around this is to reflash the phone wih european flash file but if orange network does not support the features you require then the sp (service provider) locks need to be removed

  • Smacking sound of the speaker. Does he has something in his mouth? Seems not like a pro to me. But the video is nice withoutthe sound :-)

  • orange in australia no longer exists!!! a company called 3 bought it. but i'll ask them when i get this fone.

  • this guy has a watery mouth .

  • Not very constructive, give the guy a break!

  • Hi, im just about to get my N95 from orange and this (butchering) of its capabilities worries me... As experts in this area, do you think we are likely to get these fuctions back from our service providers? Thanks. N

  • I want that phone, thanks for this post! it will help me a lot ^^

  • Thnx for the vids...mine gets delivered in the morning T-mobile version ill check out if they've done the same...

  • They don't, mine is on T-Mobile and everything is hunky dory, I can make video calls due to a network restriction (limited 3G coverage in hull )but the option is there on my phone

  • Now I understand why network company in the USA won't promote this phone, it save you so much money with free internet calls and internet access connection plus free gps navigation. Thank you for the information, it was very helpful I was about to buy it on contract here !

  • orange sux so i bought it on phones for u on vodafone contract

  • they disabled VOIP too lol

  • Is it, as it says on the website, free to call "regular" numbers in those 40 countries or something until the last june?

  • Hi Guwd, Truphone users can call regular landlines (and some mobiles) for free in 40 countries until end of June. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

  • what a waste of time, who gives a fuck. You can just put on the latest firmware on it as long the branded lock stays on providers have no complains

  • Great work man!!!

  • As with all these absolutely obsolete digital gadgets I have only two questions:

#01. Where's the "OFF" button on these stupid toys??

    and

#02. Can these absolutely useless objects be thrown away such a distance that I don't even have to bother hearing them crash into oblivion????

  • dude..dry your mouth

  • the opening and closing of your mouth with the help of your saliva sounded really irritating........but nice video though

  • very useful, thanks!

  • anyone have one on vodafone? as i'm looking to get this with my upgrrade soon, great video btw

    cheers

  • Whoever you buy it from, check that internet telephony has not been disabled

  • I have a question bro, does this truphone software works just in the UK??

  • Hi FireOFK, Truphone works wherever you have access to Wi-fi... Just download the software onto your phone and you can use it anywhere (but best to check the legality of VoIP in the country that you intend to use Truphone).

  • wow great so does that give you much cheaper rates or its just free to call any phone #? thanks

  • Free calls to other Truphone users (and Google Talk users) and VoIP-rate calls to any ordinary phone.

It works out especially cheap to call internationally. See truphone dot com for more details

  • great I'll make sure to download it for myself and my girlfriend. thanks for the info

  • Has anyone had an luck in taking a n95 from the big red phone company and re-loading generic firmware on it ? This strikes me as the best way of re-taking control of my phone and letting the V company subsidies my handset

  • My boyfriend showed me your video and we found it very useful and informative. Thank you for the tips! I just bought my Nokia N95 this past weekend and I'm loving it :) Keep up the great work!

  • Thanks MariaFilms ;-D

  • Operators do care, they are praying that you go over your monthly limit so that you have to pay a heap!

I'm just gonna buy an unlocked one from Ebay and load truphone, another browser since the nokia one isn't great (FF on Symbian would be a dream come true!) and maybe some other apps, Might load tom tom on it if I can get the GPS for free, works on my Nokia 6600 with an external bluetooth GPS device.

  • nice job guys

  • anyone that wasn't aware of the removal of voip from there phone when purchased, should report it to traiding standards. for more info, check out consumerdirect. gov. uk

  • fear not if you're planning to buy the n95 on o2(uk) as the internet tel comes as you see it on the unlocked phone.

  • why dont you get yourself a copy of NSS, flash the product code to the vanilla code which is the generic nokia code. Then your phone will be just how nokia wished for you to get it. Then as new updates come out to fix all those little bugs simply connect to the Nokia NSU and update your phone. (roughly every few months)

  • are you eating something??? god damnit god jesus its disgusitng

  • I agree the guy sounds like he needs a glass of water or something most revolting noises

  • OK, I've just re-watched this and you're right, the noises can be a bit intrusive.

Sorry - I'll make sure I cough off-camera next time, or just get better at sound editing ;-D

  • Warning: this video contains a lot of disgusting mouth noises.

  • I thought the very same

  • Its a 'HELPING you to make the right decision' kind of video..... not a promo for 'background silence'! LOL :P Poor Guy...least he didn't DRIBBLE on the phones.....I'd be hard pushed NOT to drool ;D

  • I do not see a problem as you can start a VoIP call from the applikation. It looks like a Nokia fault that when the Operators remove the VoIP client from the application folder that also the settings options are missing. I guess that the Operators will push Nokia to fix this issue with the next big SW release.

Again. Nokia is making big faults in their SW. Quality is still not the best from the Nokia guys. :-( To many phones - to many issues :-(

  • Truphone should be encouraging people to complain to Ofcom. Plus they should put in their instructions that Truphone won't work with N95s from Vodafone and Orange.

I wasted a good half hour trying to get it to work on my Orange N95.

  • does anybody know how to flash the phone? Any link or video available!

  • GO to a website called allaboutsymbian its all in there, very simple and safe. oh and operators couldnt care less, as you still pay them monthly

  • I got mine on T-Mobile (UK) without even thinking about this. Very glad I did now as I have subsequently spoken to them and they said nothing is removed as that is not their policy.

    Good on them

  • i think you can flash branded phones to normal ones by changing the product code, just don't ask me how.

  • no, you can't flash operator's locked prepaid one's - they are operator's property until you have paid price of phone. Operators ARE 100% rock hard on this - they order it ONLY in that condition.

  • good Video, Im glad I didn't go for Orange, and will not again. with T-mobile its fine apart from locking into their network

  • where are the two tumbs coming from? ;-) LOVE IT.
