I'm doing an assignment on world music so i chose to do it on International Hip Hop... Man hearing this track made this assignment so much better hahaha
My favourite track off the album. Can't wait to see you perform again, the album launch party was one of the best events I've ever been too. You guys attract a good crowd
secondly "howmuchmyman", your point has been entirely flawed: everyone disagrees with each other on points; if we were unable to bridge these gaps and agree to disagree, and unable to work together, the world would simply not function
But you are still performing with someone who is supporting their beliefs. If they didn't agree with each other artistically then the track wouldn't have been produced. You need to be able to agree on all aspects of your track and reach a finalised decision when producing a final piece. One or the other won't let a track go out if they feel it will damage their image. In which case, they both agreed it didn't! So M1 supported stickman in his notion.
im going to let u know something that many people might not know.. when M1 was 13 yrs old he took his shahada(converted to islam) this is a fact that came from his own mouth himself, i dont know what is his currently stance on faith, but this is what he told me when i met him.
Also if you carefully listen to his verse he says in arabic( i seek refufe in Allah from the evil satan)
this is something that millions of muslims all over the world repeat daily... so i respect that he took that into consideration when writing this track.
secondly i may disagree with someone's political, religious and social ideologies but respect their artform so that shouldnt stop me from making a track with them as long as they dont directly disrespect me on that specific track.
im a muslim and i currently work with a jewish rapper because i respect his artform, his love and devotion to his faith and the ultimate goal is to bridge both our communities together.
personally i dont follow that opinion, i truly believe in freedom of speech and everyone is entitled to it, the truth is me, Braydz, Jnr Sas and M1 came together to record a uplifting and positive track about being hopeful and that is exactly what we done!!!
No artist was disrespectful to another artist we all came together for a positive cause.

MMM, i'm no Muslim, but you collaborating with M1 is abit insulting to your religion, seeing as he insulted God directly! -
Dead Prez (from Propaganda)
And grab the intercom, my first words will be I believe
Man made god, outta ignorance and fear
If God made man, then why the hell would he put us here?
I thought hes supposed to be the all loving
The same God who let hitler put the jews in the oven
We dont fall for the regular shit, they try to feed us

peace bro
thanks for your comment
just to clarify
I made a track with M1 not stickman
there are 2 members in dead prez and the rhyme you just quoted was from stick man and not m1 in the propoganda track.
peace be with you

I don't think M1 is a Muslim but he often remembers Africa in his lyrics and I love that.
