That was INCREDIBLE!! I'm writing an essay for ENC1102 right now, and I really just had an urge to listen to On Green Dolphin Street (played it in High School) while I worked.
I saw that you were just piano and didn't think it'd be very good.. I WAS WRONG!! I'll repeat it.. Over and OVER!! lol Sorry of the outburst.
great job! I really like your rubato and your use of it. the only thing i think i would have preferred is if you did a walking bassline with your left hand during the swing section coming out from latin. i think it would've accentuated the feel.

He isn't doing a solo. Its obvious that "United States of China" doesn't know how to play a Jazz solo. He is playing the main theme of On Green Dolphin Street and he is accompaning himself. If he had another Piano player playing the melody, then yes you would be correct, hi is doing a solo, but for now he is not.
Great touch on the keys. Played with wonderful feeling and expression. Many great moments in here for me like the Db before coming back to C. Terrific melodic solo lines. Another KJ lover, that's for sure! Keep them coming!!

I like the steady left hand rhythm over the C to Cm section. Check out my video me playing this it's a piano trio version. Nice job!
