  • The MANIFOLD is a great tip. Thx much.

  • @MrSchpankme what exactly does the manifold do? does it act as a filter when you are ready to add the mash to the boiler?

  • So it's OK, to make the yeast culture out of TAP WATER, because your only getting a minimal of amount of Fluoride and other deadly chemicals >:)

Note: Boiling Fluoride concentrates it, it does not dissolve to the atmosphere like Chlorine.

  • This is by far one of the best beer making videos I have seen thus far. I recently started home brewing and am getting ready to brew a Brewer's Best Milk Stout kit. Your video is making me ever more anxious to get into all grain. Would it be possible to brew a beer such as that in your video using the brew in a bag method? Any thoughts you could share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)

  • Nicely done. I especially like the sterilizing tips. Thanks Brian!

  • I'm threatened by the prowess displayed here. Damn hippie is on top of his game! Respect. :)

  • great video.

  • Brian, gonzalo from brentwood ca. I love this recepie ty

  • If you would like to improve your video, you should really show a chart of all the steps and highlight the step you're currently on. It would help a lot to give us a good overview.

Also: Guys can use hula hoops too?!

  • You know its the law to have barley hops and whaet in your beer right cause i think you need to change your recipe

  • beertakes way less power too make then indoor weed. so of corse i like it a lot more then weed.

  • looks nasty but sure does taste good..................the dude skinny with a big o beer belly....lol

  • Very good video...I watch it a few times a year to brush up on my beer knowledge...

  • Kvas is not beer, it's made out of leftover bread ,sugar and water and does not contain alcohol.

Pivo, that's what Slavic people call Beer

  • Comment removed

  • @Playborn actually it does contain alcohol, just very little around 0.05% - 1.44%

  • @surfmonkey45 yep, but even yogurt and keffir contain more alcohol

  • Wow, this is impressive.

  • Try the Belgium beer Delerium Tremens! One of my favorites!

  • Comment removed

  • The band was named Grasshopper, but they have changed into the Open Space Project, from the Bay Area

  • man o man - I was drinking Coopers sparkling ale watching this - why would I bother?

    best beer known to man

legendary stuff and prepared to pay

  • Coopers do make some great beers, and also home brew kits.

Im hoping to move up to AG next weekend

  • I garbaged picked a hula hoop on my last dog walk. haha. I can't wait to use it on my next brew. lol

  • awesome

  • Very Interesting indeed. It's a science to make beer from the beginning.

  • hay.. nice movie helps a lot.. could you might send me the recipe or a link to a site where it might would be??

  • Great video, What kinda hops did you use for bittering and flavoring

  • Great video, Thanks man. You have started my first brew.

  • Ponty 36: Fuck you. this is how you do it the proper way. I acctually learnt a lot from this and have a stout in the fermenter as we speak:)

  • okay and who has access to all this stuff. To advanced and way to BORING

  • you could make most of it yourself

  • or buy a starter kit for $80.

  • Oh man. I thought this video was deleted. I see the listing picture changed and now 4 parts into one. I've been searching for some time. Sooooo happy to find it again. Now saved in my favorites. It always use to list first in beer making searches. I always reference this video through my beer making venture.

  • Hey thanks to Matt for putting all four parts together. I should mention that the one glaring error in this video was that I mention that the starting water temp for a mash is 160, when it should really be about 170F. You lose about 15 degrees of temp after the grains mash-in, for a 155F starting mash temp. This is perfect for alpha-amylase conversion. Have fun brewing all - Brian Vandemark

  • @bvandemark Thanks Brian for the cheerful and creative presentation of your home brewing!
