Great film as always... Dam sure thought, that Rosydd, Croesor, and all the mines in Blaenau were slate !! There is an old gold mine near Llyn Celyn though.
Llyn Celyn's where Tryweryn Reservoir is, named after the drowned village Capel Celyn I think. Have you visited any of the heavy metal mines at Cwmystwyth?
