I have a Kona acoustic that sounds kinda amazing. I had a few Gibson acoustics and they weren't heaps better except for selling them for money. Your electric suffered neglect :P. I can make a fender stratocaster play and look like yours to but I wouldn't. Place it in random locations let it fall a few times off the chair. Loosen the springs. Add stickers. Your just having fun hacking up the brand cause it makes you cool. That'll change eventually just don't lose having fun :)

Your just a kid who cannot appreciate a guitar for what it is. If it "taught you everything" you would love a cherish it as I did my Martin Stinger SSX, sure I play jacksons now, but that's the guitar that got it started for me, and I loved it.

1. theres no problem with the bottom of the guitar if you can screw it back on, your bridge is messed up cause your springs in the back are too lose, those pick ups are real, and the pickups are naturally like that, nothing has to be higher, the string hight is due to the action you messed up on the bridge, so no, this is not a bad guitar, iv been playin for longer then youve been alive, its not a peice of crap. btw did you even learn anything other then how not to treat a guitar?
The "wiggle room" under the bridge is because it's a tremolo. It can be adjusted to lock it down.
Out of the 11 guitars I have, my kick around workhorse is a Kona electric. Decent neck and no noise pickups. I actually used it on some album recordings.
My Fender USA Strat stays in the case. But Kona at $179 is worth its weight in gold.
yeah, i dont know about the electrics but i have had a k1 kona acoustic Trans blue for ever and it is by far my favorite of my guitars. I got it at a pawn shop for 80 bucks and is the best 80 bucks i will ever spend in my life. It sounds way better than more expensive guitars and just looks beautiful. Im going to get the Kona Special next weekend. Great Texas made guitars for real cheap.

Take the guitar to your local music shop, and have someone set it up PROPERLY for you. I own SEVERAL Kona Guitars, and all of them Look, Feel, & sound amazing. You're obviously a kid that screwed up his own guitar, and now wants to blame the company. Grow up, learn to maintain your guitar properly, and most importantly, GET A CLUE!

1) loosen the strings after your done playing so you don't warp the neck...
2) keep your guitar in a hardcase unless your playing it...
