  • @IraqiDude321 This game comes with a nice tutorial for game mechanics, and a tutorial for individual characters. While you can learn combos from the pros and the game itself, the combo system is actually somewhat flexible. If you manage to make the characters movement natural to you, you can more or less improvise combos to a certain extend or optimise ones you see. Once you get skilled with the game, its really rewarding and fun, with unique characters, too

  • They barely touched blood kain, if at all. All the people who are like "WOW BLOODKAIN IS SO MUCH BETTER" Are retarded. I'm fairly sure every single combo and all of the damage is identical.

  • So..the one thing im not getting out of all of this is the Dash after Straight Punch in ID. Do you have to back step first then dash and do the 3c>Hells Fang>Tsuika?

  • Challenge 15 is one of those combos that you get hit by and you just set the controller down afterwards and say..."Fuck it." lol

  • I don't know if I want to buy this or hyperdimension neptunia mk2. after being very PISSED! at the update for CS. ( Which i think 1.03 was not as well as 1.02 ) IMO!

  • @darkness35 Ragna has gotten several buffs and very few nerfs. Nothing as gamechanging as CS>CS2 changes though

  • Why is it that I just plain love watching Blood Kain combos? Most likely because they scream, "Oh hey, you know how you were losing until this point? Welp, he doesn't have a burst available, and you have 50 heat, sooo..."

  • @TBMF101 I'm pretty sure he's had all these combos since CS2. Not much looks changed at least to me. So I'm pretty sure I can do them yes, but I'm also confident there are people that haven't even touched the game yet that can do them.

  • @Kelohmello Well yeah the only thing that's changed is, Dead spike no longer takes a primer (I think 2D does now), and now instead of deadspike being the move for a re-launch it's now 6B. Then something about his 5D, and Blood kain not getting you as much heat? Something like that.

Here's a change list: -Tsukika, Axe Kick no longer take primers -Tsukika recovery decreased -50 meter BK combos gone -Throws now special cancelable -Back Throw is the same as Forward Throw -6B downs on air hit -5B, 5C, 5A, 2A damage increase -6D floats on hit -j.C hitbox buff -j.D floats on counter, has more untechable time -22C no longer +5, now +3. 22C dash 5A only works on Fatal -Dead Spike launches further -Carnage Scissors traded physical for projectile invul

  • @Sacreficer The moment they changed it so that 6B>5C worked. For spectacular results one might add.

  • 15 Challenges? Hmm...were there always 15, just with some shoved into the same challenge? Either way, Blood Kain is looking fine as hell.

    I'll still hit up training mode, though.

  • @EvelioEinWindir Well although there is technically more than ten now, in the old challenge modes you had about 2 combos per mission give or take a few. With 10 missions that gives us a total of 20 missions in the old ones. More like 17 or so since not all had two combos but what this means is actually less combos or about the same at best. And the fact that there are rapids being used in a handful makes them a little more situational then ones before.

    Situational ones are good, though. It'll give me an idea of what to expect with this character when I hit up training mode.

  • there may be more missions but they all seem incrediably easier.

  • sweet :D but has 5C after the dash to continue a combo been nerfed or something? seems 6A has replaced it

  • @Fistmaster049 6A has more hit stun, so sometimes you need to use it due to proration. However, these combos are just not optimized.

    Try 2c FC, DS, 5b 5c 6c dash 6d J jc belial 6b BK 5c 5d1 DS (5c) 5d DID GH, 5d, 5d DBD, not sure on heat gain but it sounds like a damager, but that early belial screws with the damage out put so im trying to optimize.
