I saw Waters do The Wall about six weeks ago. and it was a really awesome show. But while Waters is an awesome rock star, Gilmour is lord and savior of the stratocaster. Waters Comfortably Numb doesn't even compare to this.

It was an extraordinary experience, I saw them live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in 1987.

My girlfriend, to become wife, surprised me with a set of tickets....it was a brilliant evening. After the concert we took off on my motorcycle for a tour of the Gatineau Hills and spent the wee hours of the night in each others arms....truly a brilliant night and one, that when remembered, sends a surge of warmth up my spine and puts a smile across my face..

Ahhh...the past is a great place to visit!!!!

I was there in Earls Court in 1994. The whole gig was spectacular, but I can't begin to explain what it was like to hear that solo in comfortably numb live. The studio version is enough but hearing it a million times louder, three times as long, better and all around me surrounding me just blew my mind. I didnt clap, cheer or anything when the song finished, i just stared at gilmour in utter shock. It was the most amazing part of the amazing gig.

I was lucky enough to have seen the Pulse tour 3 times back in 94. I was 24 and had worshiped Gilmour since the age of 10 when I first heard the wall. I was 30 feet away from him during one of the shows, and was on the verge of tears for 3 hours. When the stage went haywire during the finale of this, I crossed a musical sensory line that I can never go back from. My whole life has bee dedicated to music, and Dave's definitely a fther figure of my inspiration. Best teacher ever.

Have been a fan since they first emerged on the scene in late 60's early 70'. Can't even remember how many times I have witnessed them live. All I can say is this group of composers, lyricists, musician and "politically in your face band" is one of a kind. Never will there be another PF band. Their concerts not only sound so wonderful..they transport you to another dimension...and I am talking when your straight. Being high at "Moon" concert sent peeps to another planet..
