First of all, as I showed in the captions, BHO didn't apologize "immediately" as Walters said as she snapped her fingers - it was after the interview was over and before it was put on the air. Secondly: Nobody said it was a "smear" of Palin (see my other video for examples of anti-Palin smears). What I said was that Baba Wawa suggested there was something wrong with Palin having something to say about it as if Obama was the wronged party.

Actually, Palin has cut funding for special olympics as Alaska's Gov and then she and her handlers tried to hide it and deny it. it's the same way they went about revising her position on the bridge to nowhere. I didn't like Bush bashing either. And LBJ should have been horsewhipped for escalating the war in Vietnam. I am not necessarily a Barbara Walters fan either. But I do respect Walters as a journalist. And I believe that Elisabeth is too emotional, too hardheaded, and not skilled enough to be a journalist. If Elisabeth wants to be a talking head at Fox News, I would have no problem with that. In fact, I have no problem with her being on the view. I just wouldn't take my news from her.

Governor Palin may not have cut funding for the Special Olympics, but she did joke about all the spending she was gonna cut once she got in as VP. Like this ridiculous fruit fly research the government was funding. What a waste of money. Except that fruit fly research is one of the best ways to study autism. Barbara was simply pointing out how FAR Sarah Palin tried to take it. This was not a smear of Sarah Palin at all, Obama made a mistake trying to make a joke on a comedy show and he fucked up. First of all, as I showed in the captions, BHO didn't apologize "immediately" as Walters said as she snapped her fingers - it was after the interview was over and before it was put on the air. Secondly: Nobody said it was a "smear" of Palin (see my other video for examples of anti-Palin smears). What I said was that Baba Wawa suggested there was something wrong with Palin having something to say about it as if Obama was the wronged party.

I don't believe that's what she meant. It doesn't make sense -- even if she didn't like what she thought Bush was doing to America, SHE wasn't being endangered by any of it! And Obama supporters spoke of their hope he would make the country safer from threats outside, not from within.
I can't find a transcript or a video clip of her saying it. That's why I said "If she said it." If you know where I can view her saying it in context, please provide it.

If you want to profile, then profile by reasons other than a turban, a foreign sounding name, or a particular religion.
