  • This happens to white people all the time by blacks but it never gets reported.

  • the hate laws are to hurt whites and gain minority votes who hate whites for no reason.

  • The intent happened to be 9/10ths of the entire case. The ONLY reason for Mr. Ramirez's murder was hatred of his ethnic ancestry, and as such the young men who murdered him deserve to live the rest of their short lives in a medium security prison being molested in the showers. The police will be luckier, ironically, because despite their crimes being so much more severe, if they see the inside of a cell, they'll be kept in solitary with better comfort because of their former occupation.

  • well theres someones bitch now

  • Police sucks courts are a joke fuck a of them pigs

  • Why didn't you showcase the Channon Christian/Christopher Newsom rape, torture and murders, Rick? That's right, because you can careless about white gringo's even though you look mostly like a white Spaniard you moron.

  • 1 of the cops was found not guilty of all the charges. The other 2 were found not guilty of the most serious charges.

  • LOL whites are more than 50% of victims of hate crimes in US, still they never show it. When a non-white is wounded/murdered, it's one hell of a party for the sensacionalim/sionist media.

  • that's true i lived at shenandoah for 15 years and the town and most of the white populations just hate hispanics specially mexicans. I hate to said this but all of them are wrong they tried to covere up everything

  • that's true i lived at shenandoah for 15 years and the town and most of the white populations just hate hispanics specially mexicans. I hate to said this but all of them are wrong they tried to covere up everything

  • 6 fuckin months for taking a human life! bullshit!!!!!

  • You don't have to have "hate crime' legislation to get the feds involved. All you need is evidence of obstruction of justice, which in this case, would be pretty simple to get ahold of. Also, isn't any crime of abuse considered a hate crime? If a mexican or a african, or gay guy beats up a white kkk guy, can they be charged with a hate crime?

  • I'm against crimes against someone who is "different" But Murder itself is a hate crime

  • This should be both ways. Now it seems a mexican woman walked into a bar and shouted all whites will die, a woman that is out on bail for stabbing someone white in shenandoah. She started it again. Not even charged with hate crimes yet, or considered for racial intimidation. At least these bad cops are off the street. The remaining 3 need to go as well. This George Currado, Carrodo, guy is openly gay, and protest out of town in uniform. Not right. Twisted town???

  • what is wrong with being openly gay? check yourself out of the closet.

  • THERE IS NO SUCH FUCKING THING AS A HATE CRIME!!! The FEDS HAVE NO FUCKING BUSINESS IN LAW ENFORCEMENT!!!!

  • THere should be hate crime laws so all the racist who commit a crime like go to jail for good

  • You can't trust these damn small town suburbs. Especially when you got KKK night-time activity w/ the cops' special pals. I don't even think the sentences were just for a non-hate crime murder. 5-6 mos?!? They KILLED a man. Beat him to his death with no remorse. Even if the guy was white, they should have been tried for at least attempted murder.

  • like bankers - if you are not one of them you're screwed

  • Rick Sanchez is a sick joke.

Hey Rick what do you think about killing people with your car while driving drunk?

Google Rick Sanchez Drunk Driving - murder.

  • Wow! Shocking and disgusting. Many cops and many courts are totally worthless and worse, they're downright evil.

  • all crimes are hate crimes

  • @IlluminatiSeer

No. If someone mugs another RANDOM person, it's not out of hate.

If I embezzle hundreds of thousands of dollars, it's not out of hate.

Not all crimes are hate crimes.

  • So what if the men had all been the same race and there was no racial terms thrown about. These boys would have gotten the same treatemnt by the Police, not because they were White, but because of their football team status. Why should there be better justice for the minority than a white dude. This case should end in manslauter charges and race should not play into it at all.

  • What if is 20/20 hindsight. What if it were you? Or your dad? Race plays into this because the witnesses heard the assailants using racial slurs. And the police covered up a murder. Manslaughter is when you kill someone with one punch. Murder is when you kick the shit out of someone till they die. Even if they all were white it would be murder. Yet in this case no one showed remorse. If you have a daughter are these "boys" the type you want dating her? Not me.

  • football players nuff said

  • I will only start believing in the concept of "hate crimes" if everytime a black man or a latino robs a white person the feds go after them for commiting a "hate crime".

And if you're white it's very easy to beat up a coloured person and not be charged a "hate crime". After you severely beat him up, STEAL HIS WALLET!!!!!

  • We don't need extra laws, although those kids should spend more time in prison allot more time than they got, these are the people from PA that I talk about. It is across the Cumberland valley too, same set up, same fox news cops and Mafia familys.

Cops should be charged with conspiracy, along with the prosecutor, and the judge. All the local and state government has these people running the show. Investigate more broadly across our state, the ones watching us are the ones that need watching.

  • wow that lawyer gladys limon is fvcking hot... i want to lick gape spit in and ravage her holes.

  • This news coverage is old... but very serious

  • I just afraid that after hate crime laws we will have speech crime laws, and so on..any move toward the outlawing or penalizing of thoughts, I'm against.

  • ATF?? If you ask me, just abolish it. What good does it REALLY do besides screw things up like Waco? We really need a federal dept. to control alcohol? Or tobacco?? Society can't deal with these problems, those that don't involve crimes like drunk driving, on its own?? And how about the Firearms bullcrap? Isn't that unconstitutional? 2nd Amendment anyone?

  • For example, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children? Really? And you're telling me the states don't have the ability to pool their resources together to create some sort of similar consortium or interstate agreement to share info and help fight this problem ON THEIR OWN without federal interference? When the feds take over what used to be state jurisdiction, esp. criminal law, it just makes for more bungling, more bureaucracy and more mistakes. I think it hurts more than helps

  • And does a hate crimes law REALLY need to be federal? Do we REALLY need so many damn federal laws on regular crime? I mean, I understand for things like treason or terrorism, but hate crimes?? Why can't the individual states make their own hate crimes laws? I don't think it'd be THAT difficult. Having the gov't intervene in so many areas of traditional criminal law sets a dangerous precedent. It's not like local and state cops couldn't pick up the slack a bit.

  • Or how about the FEDERAL War on Drugs with FEDERAL agencies like the DEA or ONDCP? If you ask me, those agencies should only be fighting international drug dealers, if anything, from Mexico and other nations. Let the state and local police in the 50 jurisdictions handle domestic shit on their own. It's not like they can't! The gov't just hasn't given em a chance. Has the federal COPS program really done a number on gangs? I don't think so!

  • If hate crimes laws are "necessary" just to prevent racist cops from failing to charge those of the same race who kill others of diff. races, then this exception can apply to a RANGE of situations! A former corporate stooge or fatcat who becomes a cop could easily say, "We're not gonna enforce state regulations against certain business practices". A pro-rape (god forbid) cop or one who's a chauvinist could easily ignore rape cases. See how far the rabbit hole goes?

  • muder is murder. This urks me so dam bad! Obstruction of evidence! :( My heart goes out to that boy and his fiance.

Hate crime legislation is meant to take all of our freedoms away. We'd all be put behind bars for one thing or another.

  • These boys need the death penalty. If we have it, it's for folks like these boys.

  • the pigs should be charged with being accomplices

  • I think hate crime legislation is unnessisary. However I do believe they should have been charged with murder from the very begining. So it worked out well this time.

  • burn the bastards in hell. pussies

  • If anybody thinks this hate crime bill is about justice, I have a bridge to sell you. This propaganda is truly unbearable. And I'm black. Hate crimes are truly an awful thing but the government has different biases and is uncapable of deciding what truly is a hate crime and what isn't. I'm sure they will use this against people who protest against abortion and people who try to spread their religion. The constititution means nothing anymore.

  • @Warners0 true, a crime is a crime

  • If a "crime is a crime", why is the average murder sentence for a white with priors 19 years and the average murder sentence for a black with priors 21 years.

  • ok let me lecture you. it is because of state laws and jurors from the south and the other redneck states, and NOT BECAUSE the hate crime bill did not exist prior.

the hate crime bill serves no purpose, other than probably increasing awareness of the crimes against recently marginalized groups like the gays - hence the Matthew Shepard bill.

  • so let me sum up your little comment here. a crime is a crime EXCEPT FOR WHEN you are a minority and live in a region where your ethnicity can be used against you.

"the hate crime bill serves no purpose, other than probably increasing awareness"...Maybe you should actually READ the bill and laws.

  • The average years does not cover the what degree of murder, how the person killed them, if they are remorseful or not, etc. There are many factors that could get someone more years.

  • According to the DOJ, whites and blacks commit first and second degree murder in equal proportions. "How the person was killed" is tantamount to the degree of the charge and therefore you are just being repetitive. According to the DOJ, in 2007 46% of whites pleaded not guilty of murder compared to 34% for blacks. Therefore one can surmise more whites would be seen as being not remorseful to the victim. The facts seem as though your argument is inverted with reality.

  • hate crimes bills are a matter of intent, not the crime itself. if you kick someones ass for banging your girl its different then kicking a strangers ass for being what ever they are for no reason. it goes to motive, the crime should be treated about equal. but should be lesser if the intent was based on say self defense, or say civil conflict. you kick your sisters boyfriends ass for cheating on her as another example. if the motive is strict hate on a bias you shouldn't get any leniency

  • In the laws of the eye Race, Sex, Sexual Orientation, etc. Should never matter or be a response for Justice. If Justice is to be Just, True And Honest it must always remain Blind to these things.

  • this video have explained the purpose of hate crime legislation and people still don't understand it

in some LOCAL towns if u are white and u kill someone u will get a very light sentence, if you are black or any other race you will get a death penalty or the heaviest sentence. Hate crime legislation balance out everything

  • Great comment! The law should never be against you just because you are a different ethnicity. And the law should never be favorable to you just because you are majority.

  • thanks :)

  • Hate crimes is thought crimes. It doesn't matter WHY someone did it. Why they did it doesn't change the fact one bit that they did it. If a black person for example kills my white son solely because he was white it still wouldn't change the fact that my son was dead. The fact he was murdered because he was white is irrelevant.

  • yeah but if your telling them shit like that while beating them then its different. like if f go up to someone and start telling them racial slurs and beat them then its racial. if i just beat the person cuz i want to then its different

  • How does what they are saying while they are beating you, change the fact that they are beating you? It doesn't make it hurt anymore or any less. That's my whole point. The beating isn't going to be any more or less severe just because a person doesn't like your skin color.

  • well yeah your right but why beat him to death just beat him senseless hahahaha

  • lol...In some cases that wouldn't be a very hard beating...hahaha

  • What? Of course it matters "WHY" someone did it, the attacking or murdering of a person Latin based on their ethnicity or skin color is beyond horrifying and has no place in our society. Placing extra penalties onto the charges via the "hate crime" classification, others might just be deterred enough from taking out their prejudice in these manners.

  • How does why they did it change the fact that it's done? We already have stiff laws against murder in this country and charging someone who is facing life for murder by adding another charge to it isn't going to do squat. They are still going to be in prison for life or face the death penalty for murder. Why isn't important. It doesn't change the fact and it doesn't bring the person back to life that was murdered.

  • so if i go up to you and beat you cuz your white*black*hispanic*indian* or anything else and tell you racial slurs would you not see it different

  • Not one bit because if I choose not to believe what you say then your words have no effect on me. The ass whooping I recieve however does have an effect on me and that's the crime. Not what a person thinks of you. What a person think of you is irrelevent to the fact that you're going to get your ass kicked or maybe get your ass kicked cause that's a two way street. Let's say someone called you those names and you kicked their ass. Would those words matter afterwards? Nope cause you won.

  • What do you think court cases are for? To ascertain if and WHY a criminal act was committed and to judge on it. "Charging someone who is facing life for murder by adding another charge to it isn't going to do squat" What? The average sentence for murder is 10 years according to the DOJ for no prior felonies. Your information is poorly researched. "They are still going to be in prison for life or face the death penalty for murder". Do you know the outcome already?

    Why is always important.

  • Why will not bring back the murdered nor will it change the fact. We have laws in place for murder and harrassment and assault and any other crime you can think of. Why changes absolutely jack shit. Take for instance if someone walked up to you and said they molested a little girl. Would it make one fucking bit of difference WHY they molested her or would it matter more THAT she was molested? Why isn't important.

  • What? We have different designations of murder: First, Second, Third ...etc, which are all allocated based on WHY the murder occurred. The law is not some simplified square peg-square hole puzzle. This case being a prime example. The boys were charged with 3rd degree murder (unintentional usually) when there clearly was intent. If the WHY was established form the outset then they would have been charged with 1st degree murder. WHY is always important.

  • So if I get into a fight with a black person or a mexican person over something completely non racist but when the cops ask us all WHY we were fighting and one of us happen to pop up and say "its because I'm black, or I'm white or I'm mexican" that would completetly change the crime and wrongfully so and don't even tell me that isn't going to happen frequently and a lot of people will be doing time for shit that wasn't racially motivated. So they get to walk around in life branded as a racist.

  • Simplistic, pathetic understanding of this matter. You are aware all this must be proven in court first. Right? The time line of events is not: fight>accusation of hate crime>prison 4 life. We have a court system in our country that separates fact from fiction. Unless you are not from the US? Here is a test do you call your mates: friends or comrades?

"So they get to walk around in life branded as a racist. " That damn "scarlet R" always holding a brother down.

  • Don't worry about what I call my friends. First off. Secondly you have way more faith in our legal system than I do or your average American for that matter. Just cause it goes to court doesn't mean the innocent won't be convicted.

  • 1:34= Devil Horns. These guys never stop do they....
